    • PURPOSE:To prevent steadily the titled device from imperfect burning due to the shortage of primary air by a method wherein a driving circuit is provided to close a solenoid valve when a value stored by a comparison circuit is approximately equal to a stationary output value. CONSTITUTION:A flame rod 3 is provided above a flame hole 1 of a full primary air type burner 2. A flame electric current value obtained from the flame rod 3 at the initial operation is respectively subtracted from or added to the constant values alpha, beta by a calculating circuit 4. When the equivalance ratio is set at a1, the flame electric current value is stored in a memory circuit as a1-alpha, a1+beta. The equivalance ratio is increased due to the decrease of indoor oxygen concentration according to the operating time, also the flame electric current value is continuously increased until the equivalance ratio exceeds one. When the flame electric value is a2 a1+beta, the burning is judged as changed from the full primary burning to the Bunsen burning, accordingly, the burning is stopped by closing a solenoid valve 8 due to the operation of a driving circuit 7. Even though a2>a1+beta, when the equivalance ratio exceeds one, the electric current value is decreased surely, another judging condition a1=a1-alpha is satisfied, therefore, the safety for burning can be secured.

    • PURPOSE:To make steadier the safety for burning of the titled device by a method wherein a flame detecting element is provided at the upper position of flame hole where a mixed gas flow rate of a surface burning burner is highest, or where a primary air quantity is least. CONSTITUTION:A mixed gas is jetted from a flame hole part of the top end of a surface burning burner 1. The jetted gas has a larger flow rate, that is, a larger burning quantity compared with the mixed gas jetted from other flame hole group, and the primary air ratio thereof is rather less. A flame rod 6 is formed at the top end of said surface burning burner. When a flame is unsteady, a flame information is sent to a comparing circuit 8 from the flame rod 6 and an oxygen concentration sensor 7, compared with a presetting value under the steady burning condition. If the presetting value is not satisfied, a solenoid valve 10 is closed with a driving circuit 9. Under the condition of oxygen deficiency or primary air shortage, the oxygen concentration sensor 7 mainly sent the rapid information to the comparing circuit 8. Thereby, the steady and safe burning can be performed.

    • PURPOSE:To perform high precise detection of a combustion condition by a method wherein sensors, detecting a combustion condition, are respectively located to both ends of the burner port of a line burner, and a control means, which detects a combustion condition through comparison of sensor outputs therfrom with each other, is provided. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 7 and 8 are located to the both ends of a total primary line burner, and various combustion conditions are detected by means of outputs from the two sensors. Fuel, for example, LPG, having high gas specific gravity, forms flame distribution like a flow alpha with a main flow flowing on the bottom of a baurner body 2 since a specific gravity after incoming of the air is increased over 1 of the air, gas specific gravity of LPG is about 1.6, and concentration distribution also tends to become alpha. Conversely, the specific gravity of gas such as methane is 0.5-0.6, and since gas body is apt to flow to the upper surface side of a burner body, concentration distribution is apt to form the shape of beta. Thus, when either the two sensors attains a threshold, a fuel velve 10 is closed to stop the supply of fuel to ensure safety. Detection of either sensor outputs at opposite ends of a bruner enables detection of safe rise and an oxygen deficiency condition before either of burthers is brought to poor combustion condition.

    • PURPOSE:To form the air flow and the gas flow into laminar flows and to make constant the air-fuel ratio at the time of low TDR to obtain a constantly stable combustion by forming a gas nozzle, a primary air damper, and a secondary air damper by minute pipes. CONSTITUTION:The primary damper 11 is poistioned at the upstream of a mixing pipe 3, and the secondary air damper 12 is located at a position where primary air and secondary air can be divided from each other between a secondary air port 6 and a combustion fan 1. The gas pressuer is fed back from the upstream of the primary air damper 12 to an air-fuel ratio controller 10 and the primary air pressure from the upstream of the primary air damper 11 thereto. Further, the gas nozzle 2, the primary air damper 11 and the secondary air damper 12 are formed by minute pipes so that respective flows thereof are all formed into laminar flows. As a result, particularly the unstable combustion state such as generations of back fire, yellow tip and CO at the time of TDR can be prevented.

In this case, because the finned hot water supplying pipes 17 and 18 form a parallel circuit, a larger quantity of water flows through said parallel circuit as compared with the quantity of water flows through a single circuit having many bends therein. Furthermore, when the hot water temperature thermistor 19 or 20 detects the critical temperature or the temperature difference between the hot water temperature thermistors is detected to be larger, a gas control valve 10 stops the supply of fuel. As a result, even if either one heat exchanger pipe out of a plurality of the heat exchanger pipes clogs, the safety can be ensured.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a throttling characteristic of the flame in a burner for an indoor open- type combustion equipment such as a household-use heating equipment and a hot water heater by a method wherein it has a double flame hole structure having a specified clearance between the two. CONSTITUTION:A convex metallic net 9 is arranged at a mixing gas supplying part with a certain clearance being left against a burner body 8 having several flame holes 7. An area of flame holes 7 in the burner body 8 is made smaller than that of the flame holes opened in the metallic net 9, and the burner body 8 is made of a material such as zirconia and cordierite which can be ignited with catalyst. The fuel injected from the nozzle 6 is injected as mixing gas from the flame holes 7 of the burner body 8 in such a way as air is sucked through the primary air hole 4 under an injecting pressure of the fuel and passed through the metallic net 9. Upon ignition of the mixing gas, hot catalyst combustion is carried out at the burner body 8 where the flame holes 7 are contacted with the mixing gas. Then, as an amount of combustion at the nozzle 6 is gradually decreased, resulting in that a degree of red heating of the burner body 8 is reduced. In turn, it becomes possible to make a combustion in a wider flame hole area than the flame holes 7 of the metallic net 9, the combustion is transmitted to the metallic net 9 at the mixing gas, while a throttling of CO down to about 20%, with burning amount down to 20% are enabled, resulting in improving TDR.

By disposing the bypass pipe 13, increase in the quantity of water remaining in the water pipe can be suppressed. Further, at the time of resupplying hot water, the temperature rise due to after-heating can also be suppressed by the supply of a large quantity of low temperature water from the bypass pipe 13.

In case the ion current is 1muA or more, a combustion condition is detected by the rod 4, and in case the ion current is 2muA or less, with the heater 10 turned ON through the control circuit 5, air-fuel mixture beneath a burner port 2 is heated, the ion current can be maintained at 1muA or more as shown in A-A'' and B-B'', and a combustion condition can be detected. As noted, inputting of the fuel to the heater 10 enables sharp throttling of a cumbustion amount.

      CONSTITUTION: Air flowing in from an air feed tube 10 is heated with a heat exchanger 8 and is mixed with a fuel injected from a main burner nozzle 13 to be burned with a main burner 3a. Here, adjusting the temperature of a mixed gas enables the burning a fuel at the same or a higher combustion speed regardless of the combustion speed thereof. The combustion level is set with a fuel adjusting valve 11 arranged for a main fuel feed tube 1a and then, the fuel is sent to the main burner 13. A combustion gas after the heating of the mixed gas with the heat exchanger 8 is sent to a combustion chamber through an induction tube 9 to eliminate loss of energy. Thereafter, all the combustion gas reaches a heat exchanger 5 to heat water fed from a water feed tube 6 and the heated water is fed from a hot water feed tube 7 as hot water.
