摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber sizing agent capable of exhibiting a good scouring property in a post-processing step after weaving, providing adhesive strength to an extent that thread breakage may be suppressed, and suppressing occurrence of removal of the sizing agent, a sized yarn obtained through sizing with the fiber sizing agent and a method for producing a woven fabric performed by using the fiber sizing agent.SOLUTION: A fiber sizing agent of the invention comprises, as essential components: a neutralized product of a copolymer obtained through copolymerization of a polymerizable component including (meth)acrylic acid, a (meth)acrylic ester-based monomer and a (meth)acrylic acid hydroxyalkyl ester-based monomer; and water.

The method includes: a copolymerization process for copolymerizing polymerizable components containing (meth)acrylic acid, (meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomer and styrene-based monomer by an emulsion polymerization; and a neutralization process for neutralizing the copolymer obtained by the copolymerization process.
