    • PURPOSE:To decrease the height of a dust remover as compared with the overall lifting height of a rake, by a method wherein an inclination frame is tiltably secured to a channel, and a guide frame for elevation and a rake arm are installed in a rack manner. CONSTITUTION:With a chain wheel 16 turned clockwise or counterclockwise by means of a driving device 5, a tensile force is generated on the raising sides of the lowering sides of chains 18 and 19, and a elevating block 2 is vertically moved up or down along a guide frame 3. Meanwhile, an elevating gear 8 is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise by engagement with racks 6 and 7 along with elevation of the block 2, and a rake arm 1 is elevated,whereby the arm 1 is elevated during a distance being two times as long as the elevating distance of the block 2. Meanwhile, a guide frame 3 is elevated as it is guided by an inclination frame 4 along with elevation of the block 2.

    • PURPOSE:To smoothly and exactly remove dust by scooping by a method in which the rear claw tip portion of a rake is bent upwards in relation to the rack plate of the rake in such a way as to permit dust adhered to the inner surface of an auxiliary screen to be scooped out from bars. CONSTITUTION:By a bar screen 1 set in a waterway, dust is arrested in its front side, and the dust is raked up by a rake 2 and carried up to the surface of water. The rake 2 is vertically attached to between endless chains 3, and comb- shaped rake claws 2b and 2c are provided to the front and rear of the rake rack plate 2a. The rear rake claw 2c is bent into a chevron shaped form in such a way as to enable dust even inside the auxiliary screen 6 to be raked out, and the dust is scooped up by the rake rack plate 2a. The rake can thus be smoothly operated without pressing dust on the screen face by the take, and the automatic dust remove of such a simple structure can be obtained at low cost.
