    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for boring a hole in a planar part of a dielectric plate or dielectric column and to maintain low-loss operation by a thin-film multi-layered electrode by jointing an external coupling member, which has a coupling loop formed in advance to an electrode non-formation part provided on the dielectric plate or dielectric column planar part surface. SOLUTION: On a main member 11 for external coupling, a ground electrode 21 and electrodes 23a and 23b for a coupling loop are formed. On a subordinate member 12 for external coupling, a ground electrode 22 is formed except on the opposite surface of the electrode 23a and the opposite surface of the flank of a dielectric resonator 10. Then the center conductor of a coaxial connector 13 is connected to the electrode 23a for the coupling loop, an external conductor is connected to ground electrodes 21 and 22, and the external coupling main member 11 and subordinate member 12 are jointed to form a member for external coupling, which is jointed to the electrode non-formation part 7. Consequently, the coupling loop in the dielectric resonator is constituted to obtain a magnetic field coupling with TM110 mode.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the connection between an input/output terminal of a dielectric filter and a printed circuit board by providing a notch a frame at one end of each dielectric pole and forming an external connection electrode in the notch in the dielectric filter where the two dielectric poles of a dielectric resonator are arranged orthogonally to each other. CONSTITUTION:The input electrode 23 of a 1st stage dielectric resonator 12 is led out at a right angle to the dielectric pole 12b from the notch 21 formed to the side face of one end of the dielectric pole 12b. Moreover, the output electrode 25 of the final stage dielectric resonator 13 is led out in a direction in parallel with the dielectric pole 13b. Thus, the input electrode 23 of the 1st stage dielectric resonator 12 and the output electrode 25 of the final stage dielectric resonator 13 are led from positions turned by 180 deg. each other. Then in case of mounting the dielectric filter onto, e.g., a face of the printed circuit board 26, the pattern of the mount face and the input electrode 23 and the output electrode 25 are connected simply by semi-rigid coaxial cables 27, 28.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in the attenuation characteristic by forming a recessed part to a location of a ground electrode opposed to a resonance electrode, making the gap between the tip face of the resonance electrode and the resonance electrode opposed part of the ground electrode wide and making the gap between the resonance electrode adjacent to the tip face and the ground connection part narrow. CONSTITUTION:In an interdigital filter 1, a recessed part 5 is formed to a part of the ground electrodes 3a, 3b opposed to the resonance electrode 4 to make the gap S3 between the tip face of the resonance electrode 4 and the resonance electrode opposed part of arm electrodes 3a, 3b wide. Simultaneously, the gap S4 between the tip face and the ground electrode connection part of the adjacent resonance electrode 4 is made narrow. Thus, since the coupling capacitor with skipped by one stage is decreased, the deterioration in the attenuation characteristic is avoided.
