摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the reverse insertion of a tool by expanding the side sections of a support piece on the opposite side to a cutting edge, and hooking the support piece on a projection provided between notch sections on a terminal base. CONSTITUTION:Side sections 2e and 2e of a support piece 2b on the opposite side to a cutting edge 3 within a pair of support pieces 2a and 2b are expanded, and the horizontal width (i) in the longitudinal direction of the support piece 2b is made twice or more as large as the length (j) between centers of a notch section 12 and a projection 14, for example. When a tool is reversely set and thrust pieces 2c and 2d of support pieces 2a and 2b are to be inserted into notch sections 12 and 13 of a terminal base 8, the expanded side section end of the support piece 26 is hooked in contact with the upper end face of the projection 14, and the insertion of thrust pieces 2c and 2d into notch sections 12 and 13 is blocked.

When lightning surge is infiltrated, then the infiltration to the internal line side is immediately suppressed by the nonlinear semiconductor resistance elements 8, and after that, current is discharged from the gas-filled lightning element 7, and is discharged to earth via the earth terminal 6. In case of checking line conduction, the internal line side can be separated by opening the line separating sections 9.

SOLUTION: The coated optical fiber is temporarily fixed with a clamper 50, so the coated optical fiber can be drawn by one hand and set along a groove 40, so that the coated optical fiber can easily and securely be mounted in the groove 40. Cutter holders 60 and 70 are arranged without overlapping vertically with each other, so their cutting blades 61 and 71 never interfere with each other and cuts into the coated optical fiber by the cutting blades 61 and 71 are always held constant in quantity. Rubber plates 62 and 72 provided at the bottom parts of the cutter holders 60 and 70 absorb the clearance of the coated optical fiber, so the cuts into the coated optical fiber are formulated. A pushing block 80 presses the coated optical fiber against the cutter holder 70, so a secondary coating on the side of the cutter holder 70 of a rear stage can properly and securely be removed.

SOLUTION: This slot removing tool consists principally of a base cover 10, a cutter base 20, and a cutter holder 30, so the number of components becomes extremely small. Therefore, the flat type cable and the both-surface adhesive tape can be easily installed in a short time free form the deflection in the axis line direction and free from the unevenness of adhesion.
