    • PURPOSE: To provide a steam sterilizer which enables heat sterilization treatment at a relatively low temperature, and moreover, eliminates possible poor and uneven heating to be a cause of insufficient sterilization. CONSTITUTION: A sterilization tank 1 is provided to house an object to be sterilized, and a vacuum suction means P1 to evacuate the sterilization tank 1 and a steam line 2 to supply steam to the sterilization tank 1 during the operation of the vacuum suction means P1 are provided. Steam is supplied into the sterilization tank 1 from the steam line 2 while reducing the pressure in the sterilization tank 1 by the vacuum suction means P1 to lower a saturated steam temperature, thereby achieving a sterilization at a relatively low temperature and a prevention of poor heating and uneven heating.

An upper end of each tube 4 is connected to an upper header 8 through the header 6, and a lower end is connected to the header 7. The header 7 is constituted as an integral header 9, and divided therein into header chambers 11, 12 by a partition plate 10. The lower end of each tube 3 communicates with the chamber 11. The lower end of each tube 4 is coupled to the plate 10 in the state passing through the chamber 11 to communicate with the chamber 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the dissolution of a non-condensable gas into distilled water and to obtain high purity water by a method in which a distilled water storage part is formed downstream from a condenser, a heating means is arranged in the storage part, and a gas discharge part is formed between the condenser and the storage part. SOLUTION: Pure steam is supplied from a stem supply line 5 to a condenser 1. Cooling water is passed between a condenser main body 2 and each heat conductive pipe 3 through a cooling line 6 and drain line 7. A storage column 8 is installed at the lower end of the condenser 1, and a distilled water storage part 9 and an ejection part 10 are formed. A heating means 12 is disposed in the bottom part of the storage part 9, an exhaust line 15 is installed in the upper part of the storage column 8, and a heated/deaerated non-condensable gas is discharged. The downstream side of an ejection line 11 is divided into two which are connected to a distilled water tank 19 and a drainage tank 20 respectively. The purity of distilled water is judged by an electric conductivity detecting means 23, a control valve 21 is changed over/controlled, and distilled water is passed toward the tank 19 or the tank 20.
