    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool sealing water while a dearator is compact, its installing space is small and an extension deaeration module can be easily installed by a method wherein the deaerator comprises respective units wherein water feed is operated to deaerate a dissolved gas in raw water, and a vacuum pump is provided to perform necessary control. SOLUTION: A deaerator comprises a base unit 2 operating feed water, a deaeration unit 3 of a dissolved gas in raw water, a control unit 4 performing control operation, and a pump unit 5 equipped with a vacuum pump. The aeration unit 3 is arranged between the base unit 2 and the control unit 4, and the pump unit 5 is arranged below the base unit 2 and the deaeration unit 3. The base nut 2 is equipped with a flow rate control valve 12, a sealing water storage part, and a heat exchanger 13. Extension of the deaeration unit is completed by installing a module bed having an extension unit placed thereon to the control unit 4 and connecting respective kinds of pipe lines. Thereby, the whole of the degasifier 1 becomes compact, the installing space is small, the aeration module can be easily extended, and deaeration efficiency can be improved by water seal cooling of the vacuum pump.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce a cost by arranging a flow rate variable element to adjust a flow rate by elastic deformation by fluid pressure at water feeding time and a cutoff member to cut off the opening part of the flow rate variable element by back pressure at water feed stopping time. SOLUTION: The opening part 4 of a flow rate variable element 3 is deformed in a funnel shape on the basis of fluid pressure of raw water flowing in from the primary side to adjust a flow rate of the raw water. The raw water flows outside through an outflow passage 8 and a raw water outlet 13. The flow of the raw water is not hindered since the space part is generated between the opening part 4 and a valve element 5 after the valve element 5 moves to the secondary side by fluid pressure at raw water supply time from this primary side. The flow rate variable element 3 is restored by resiliency when supply of the raw water is stopped. The valve element 5 moves to the flow rate variable element 3 side since back pressure is applied to the inside of the umbrella-shaped part of the valve element 5 when the raw water flows backward from the secondary side, so that the umbrella-shaped part of the valve element 5 is brought into pressure contact with the opening part 4 to check a ounterflow of the raw water.
