    • PURPOSE:To provide petroleum coke, low in volatile contents and poor in the property of fuel, with the property of normal fuel, increase the employing rate of petroleum coke and burn it in a furnace as a fuel by a method wherein the petroleum coke and pitch are mixed and pulverized to obtain pulverized fuel while the mixing ratio of the pitch is changed in accordance with the position of a burner. CONSTITUTION:The pulverized fuel is obtained by mixing petroleum coke and pitch so as to obtain 80wt% or less of petroleum coke mixing ratio and pulverizing them. The wall of the furnace 12 is provided with upper burners 16 near an outlet screen 14 and with lower burners 18 distant from the outlet screen 14. Mixed fuel 32, having high pitch ratio, is stored in a banker 24 connected to the upper burners 16 and the mixed fuel 34, having high petroleum coke ratio, is stored in the banker 26 connected to the lower burners 18 while both of the mixed fuels are pulverized to supply them to respective burners 16, 18. In this method, flames, generated from respective burners, contain plenty of chars in the wake flow thereof and it takes a long time to burn the chars perfectly in the stream of fuel, however, the length of path from the burners 18 to the outlet screen 14 is long, therefore, an assist combustion effect is effected during passing through the path and, accordingly, the combustion efficiency of the fuel will never be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To restrict the adhesion and cohesion of powder particles after solid fuel is crushed and to prevent the powder particles from being adhered to and accumulated in equipment unit and pipings or the like by a method wherein the ashes in the boiler are mixed in the solid fuel at either one of the storage, supplying and crushing of the solid fuel in the combustion facility or at its upstream stage. CONSTITUTION:Mixture including boiler ashes and solid fuel is crushed with a crusher machine 4, thereafter passed through a fuel-supplying line 5 and then supplied to the boiler combustion furnace 6. The discharged gas 7 generated in the boiler combustion furnace 6 is reacted with ammonia 9 in a denitrification reactor 8 and the nitrogen oxide contained in the discharged gas is converted to nontoxic nitrogen and water. Further, the discharged gas pass through a discharging gas line 14 after soot collected by an electrical dust collector 10 is removed, and then transmitted to the discharging gas denitrification device. A part of the collected soots and dusts is expelled out as boiler ashes 12 through a distributor 11 and the remaining boiler ashes pass through the circulation boiler ash line 13 and supplied to the mixing machine 2.
