摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filter material enhanced in the degradability of cellulose acetate fibers in the presence of water, and imparted with the collapsibility of the fiber shape of the filter material and in the collapsibility of the shape of the cigarette filter, and to obtain the cigarette filter using the same. SOLUTION: This filter material comprises cellulose acetate tows containing 5-50wt.% of a hydroxyalkylcellulose, a polyalkylene glycol, a glycerol fatty acid ester or an alkylene glycol fatty acid ester which are water-soluble compounds and/or water-dispersible compounds soluble in the solvents for cellulose acetate but noncompatible with the cellulose acetate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable obtaining of excellent aroma and taste with bright aroma quality and smooth smoke by providing the vicinity of the central axis of a filter with air inlets in the radial direction for introducing air thereinto. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical filter is constructed from a formed product 12 of a heat-resistant synthetic resin on the tobacco body side and a filter unit 32 composed of a fiber bundle and nonwoven fabric, etc., on the filter tip side. An outer cylinder 14 and an inner cylinder 16 are formed into a concentric shape and both the cylinders 14 and 16 are connected with three radial partition walls 18 in the formed product 12. A vent hole 22 is formed in the cylinder 16 and the side of the filter unit 32 is opened to the vent hole 22. On the other hand, the adjacent part to the tobacco body is closed with a disklike baffle plate 24. The respective partition walls 18 are perforated with radial air inlets 26 for communicating with the vent hole 22 on the outside of the outer cylinder 14. If a smoker uses the tobacco, air is taken from the air inlets 26 into the center of the filter and then sucked into the oral cavity without mutually diffusing with tobacco smoke.

Then dibromoalkane of equal molar amt. is added to the sodium salt of oxazolidone in an ice bath at 0-5 deg.C to effect the reaction at room temp to obtain the oxazolidone deriv.
