    • PURPOSE: To obtain an acrylic hollow fiber having excellent bulkiness, compressive elasticity, water retentivity and heat insulating characteristic by setting the discharge angle of a raw liquid for spinning at 20W40° relative to a nozzle plane and spinning draft ratio at 0.9W1.5.
      CONSTITUTION: The copolymer contg. 50W97wt% acrylonitrile is dissolved in an org. solvent such as DMF, DMA or DMSO to prepare the raw liquid for spinning. The shape of the spinning orifice is made into a triangular shape and the discharge angle is required to be set at 20W40° relative to the nozzle plane. The raw liquid is wet spun at 0.9W1.5 spinning draft ratio into a solidifying bath of an aq. solvent soln. of an acrylonitrile copolymer contg. ≥55wt% water. The spun fiber is in succession subjected to stretching, drying and relaxation treatment.

    • PURPOSE: A spinning dope of acrylonitrile-containing high shrinkage component and another dope of low shrinkage component are prepared and they are subjected to wet spinning of side-by-side conjugation, further drawing and heat treatment under relaxation to give the titled fiber having pilling-resistant and crimp-developing properties.
      CONSTITUTION: (A) A spinning dope of high shrinkage component containing 85wt% or more acrilonitrile and (B) another spinning dope of low shrinkage component containing 85wt% or more acrilonitrile are prepared so that their viscosity becomes 50W100 poise, preferably 80W100 poise at 50°C. Then, both dopes are subjected to wet spinning of side-by-side conjugation and the resultant fiber is drawn at a ratio of 3.0W5.0 in hot water, dried and heat-treated under relaxed state in a saturated steam of 1.3W20kg/cm
      2 G to give the objective fiber of 1.8W2.6g/d tensile strength, 20W35 crimp developing force calculated as a product of node strength and node elongation.

    • PURPOSE:A polymer dope of specific viscosity is spun together a triangular orifice to produce a new type of titled fiber in which the cross section is an indeterminate shape of irregular projections and depressions with a certain difference between the productions and the depressions and the side surfaces have a number of frills, thus showing touch and luster like ramie. CONSTITUTION:An acrylonitrile copolymer solution in a dimethyl acetamide of less than 150 poise viscosity at 50 deg.C, an example of the copolymer is acrylonitrile-vinyl acetane one, is extruded through a triangular orifice into a coagulation bath and made into the objective fiber in which the cross section is an indeterminate shape with irregular projections and depressions, having at least one of depressions of more than 0.05 1/D1 where D1 is the diameter of the circumcircle (a) of the fiber and 1 is the length of the deepest perpendicular at a depression formed with two adjacent projections from the tangential line (b) connecting the two projections and its side surfaces are covered with a number of discontinuous frils of more than 1mu width along the fiber axis direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial textile product capable of avoiding deterioration of antimicrobial and deodorizing properties due to various treatments received by the textile product under use environments, excellent in degree of whiteness and color developing clarity and useful for clothes, etc., by including acrylic fibers containing a prescribed amount of a nonelutable antimicrobial agent in a specific mixing ratio. SOLUTION: This antimicrobial textile product comprises acrylic fibers containing 0.05-2.0 wt.% of a nonelutable antimocrobial agent such as a natural antimicrobial agent, e.g. chitosan which is basic polysaccharides prepared by removing calcium carbonate and proteins from a chitinous material forming the outer skeleton of crustaceans such as a crab or a lobster or a shrimp, heating the resultant chitin with a concentrated alkali and deacetylating the chitin in 20-60 wt.% mixing ratio. Furthermore, the bacteriostatic activity value of the antimicrobial textile product is >=2.2. A method for including an acidic aqueous solution of chitosan in a washed yarn prepared by washing a solvent contained in a coagulated yarn in a wet production process for the acrylic fibers, then neutralizing the resultant yarn and washing the chitosan is preferred as the method for including the nonelutable antimicrobial agent.
