摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently advance the hydrodesulfurization of catalytic cracking gasoline while preventing the hydrogenation of olefins by causing the gasoline to pass through a catalyst which is prepd. by presulfurizing a Co-Mo or Ni-No catalyst carried by an alumina carrier and treating this catalyst with a basic org. nitrogen compd. SOLUTION: A cobalt-molybdenum or nickel-molybdenum catalyst carried by an alumina carrier is presulfurized, then is treated with a basic org. nitrogen compd. in an amt. of at least 10 mol per mol of the carrier at 200 deg.C or lower, pref. at about 150 deg.C, and is heated to 250 deg.C or higher, pref. about 300 deg.C. Then, catalytic cracking gasoline is passed through the catalyst to be subjected to hydrodesulfurization, thus giving a hydrodesulfurized catalytic cracking gasoline. The modification of the catalyst with the basic org. nitrogen compd. enables the hydrogenation activity of olefins to be considerably reduced while maintaining the desulfurization activity, enables the hydrodesulfurization selectivity to be improved, and enables the decrease in octane number to be kept low.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify an oil made from waste plastics into a high-quality automotive fuel oil at a low cost by using a fluid catalytic cracking unit without the use of hydrogen. SOLUTION: Preferably 1-100 vol.% of an oil made from waste plastics and containing dienes, chlorine and oxygen is mixed with a petroleum fraction >=250 deg.C in boiling point, and the resultant mixture is subjected to a fluid catalytic cracking unit. It is preferable that the above oil contain the dienes at about 0.1-5.0 gI2 /100 g in terms of diene value, chlorine at about 0.0007-1 wt.% and oxygen at about 0.0001-1 wt.%, and the above unit is composed of a riser- type reactor, a catalyst/product oil separator and a catalyst regenerative column.

SOLUTION: A catalytically cracked gasoline as a raw material is processed in a multistage process as described below. 1) The 1st process: a desulfurization process conducted at a desulfurization ratio within the range of 60-90% in the presence of a hydrogenation desulfurization catalyst under the conditions of a hydrogen sulfide concentration at the inlet of a reactor of not more than 0.1vol.%, a reaction temp. of 200-350 deg.C, a partial hydrogen press. of 5-30kg/cm , a hydrogen/oil ratio of 500-3,000scf/bbl and an LHSV of 2-101/h. 2) The 2nd process: a desulfurization process for the oil generated in the 1st process conducted at a desulfurization ratio within the range of 60-90% in the presence of a hydrogenation desulfurization catalyst under the conditions of a hydrogen sulfide concentration at the inlet of a reactor of not more than 0.05vol.%, a reaction temp. of 200-300 deg.C, a partial hydrogen press. of 5-15kg/cm , a hydrogen/oil ratio of 1,000-3,000scf/bbl and an LHSV of 2-101/h. 3) The 3rd and the subsequent processes: a desulfurization process which is repetition of the 2) process as many times as necessary to bring down the sulfur concentration of the oil generated in the 2nd process below an aimed value, when it is not lower than the value.

CONSTITUTION: In conducting a hydrodesulfurization of catalytically cracked gasoline containing both sulfur compounds and olefin components, a coke precursor as a reaction byproduct subject to adherence to the catalyst is scrubbed out in a liquid phase by using hydrocarbons virtually free from olefin components and containing pref. >=80vol.% of paraffin components (esp. pref. rich in isoparaffins and/or naphthenes) to prevent decline in catalytic activity. It is preferable that the scrubbing operation is carried out by passing the hydrocarbons through the reaction unit while the reaction unit is standing packed with the catalyst; in this case, the catalytically cracked gasoline may be stopped passing through the reaction unit; or it may be passed simultaneously with the above-mentioned hydrocarbons along with carrying out the desulfurization.
