摘要： PURPOSE:To produce metallic powder having uniform and fine crystal structure without surface oxidation by dropping a molten metal onto the surface of an inclined porous refractory plate-shaped body while ejecting an inert gas through said body. CONSTITUTION:Powder of a metal such as iron or the like, graphite or ceramics such as silicon carbide is molded to a plate shape and sintered to manufacture a porous refractory plate-shaped body 2 having 20-200mum pore size and 10- 70vol% porosity. Such body is installed to a nozzle 8 with inclination at 5-45 deg. with respect to a horizontal plane and an inert gas such as Ar is ejected through the pores of the porous plate 2 under the gage pressure of 5-70kg/cm . The molten or alloy 3 in a crucible 4 is dropped onto the surface of the body 2. The molten metal is divided and scattered in the form of unifrom granular metallic particles 9 by the ejected gaseous Ar. The metallic powder which is fine and uniform in the crystal structure and is excellent as a raw material for powder metallurgy is obtd.
