摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the treating amount without losing compact properties and also to improve the reaction efficiency by providing a fluid passage to the inside of a partitioned wall and communicating a fluid for heating or cooling therein. CONSTITUTION:A fluid for heating/cooling is flowed into the inside of a partitioned wall through a heating/cooling source inlet 2 provided to the partitioned wall 1 and flowed out through an outlet 3. Still further a wall 1a is provided by being brought into contact with the top surface of a rectifier 8 and a wall 1b is provided by keeping a clearance on the surface of the rectifier and a wall 1c is a partitioned wall provided by keeping the clearance in the intermediate part of a fluidized bed. By the above constitution, the capacity can be increased without lacking a heat transfer surface and both the increase of reaction efficiency and the compacting of the apparatus can be attained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the residual fluorine content in uranium oxide, and to impart high activity to the oxide, by carrying out the dry conversion of uranium hexafluoride to uranium oxide powder suitable as a nuclear reactor fuel preventing the contact of UF6 gas with hydrogen gas. CONSTITUTION:UF6 or a mixture of UF6 and a carrier gas is introduced together with steam into the first reaction zone at a molar flow ratio (steam/ UF6) of >2 to effect the hydrolysis of UF6 to UO2F2. The obtained UO2F2 is mixed with a hydrogen-containing gas, and the mixture is further mixed with an oxygen-containing gas and introduced into the second reaction zone. The combustion of the hydrogen-containing gas and the oxygen-containing gas takes place in the second reaction zone, and UO2F2 is converted to a composition rich in uranium oxide in the presence of the generated active flame.
