    • PURPOSE:To rearrange rolls without biting a foreign matter and in a short time by supporting specifically inside and outside roll chocks in a rolling mill for bending shiftable work rolls. CONSTITUTION:Outside and inside roll chocks 102, 103 are set to the axial ends of upper and lower work rolls 1, (1') unmovably in the axial directions and freely turnably by a freely self-detachable clamp 106. Each roll chock is fitted to the space which penetrates lengthwise chock side frames 107, 108, and is supported freely rockably around a center line parallel to the sheet passing direction by a pair of pins 109, 110 provided to both side faces of each frame. A roll bending device 13 is engaged freely detachably with a grooved part 111 located on the roll-axis direction above which the frame is opened. Further, a roll balancing device 19 is interposed between a flange 112 at the upper side of grooved part 111 and a housing 6. A roll shifting device 5 for moving the frame 107 located at the driving side of a mill, is connected to the frame 107. Further, a stopping part for stopping the frame 107 when it moves more than a proper distance, is provided to the end part of groove 111.

    • PURPOSE: To surely and easily feed the tip end part of a bar stock into the upper and lower straightening rolls of a straightening machine or into the blade groove of the lower knife of a cold shear, in an aligning device in the width direction, at tone time of transferring a number of hot rolled bar stocks from a cooling bed to a transporting table and transporting them to the straightening machine or the cold shear. CONSTITUTION: When the tip end of a bar stock 50 comes to the entrance side of a guide plate 1 during the transportation, to a straightening machine or a cold shear, of a number of bar stocks 50 transferred to a transporting table 51, the tip end is guided vertically by the curved part of that entrance side and entered underneath, so that the guide plate 1 is oscillated by a oscillating cylinder 7. The aligning guides 2 which are plurally arranged in rows on the lower face of the guide plate 1 are inserted from above in between the tip ends of a number of bar stocks 50, and precisely aligned at a prescribed pitch. Then, the aligned bar stock is fed to the straightening machine or the cold shear by means of the transporting table 51, and a working operation is performed such as the straightening of straightness or cutting to a prescribed length.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the movement in a short pseriod for changing a roll stand recombination and for a roll position change by coustituting a billet guiding device to be avoidably movable from a guide activating position to the outer position of a moving locus so as to recombine the stand of each rolling mill or to change the roll position. CONSTITUTION:At the time of recombining the stand or changing the position of the rolling roll of a rolling mill, the taper member of a means 8 for fixing and holding the guide position of a billet is retreated by a driving means 8d to set the space between hollow fixing guides to an opened state, and then the billet guides 3, 4 are rotated and retreated to the position of a one-dashed chain line by driving means 3f, 4f. In this state, both billet guide devices 3, 4 are each moved to the position outside the moving locus of the stand of the rolling mills 1, 2, to which each guide belongs; interference with the rolling stand is avoided which is moved for recombining or changing the position of a rolling roll; and the operation is carried out for recombining the stand of a rolling mill and for changing the position of the rolling roll without the need of detaching the guide devices 3, 4.

    • PURPOSE: To unnecessitate a dummy table stand and the space for storing it and to shorten a time for putting a bar mill in or out of a rolling line by providing a dummy table so as to put in or out of the removed space of the bar mill on the rolling line. CONSTITUTION: When the rolling rate of a bar steel 51 is high, the dummy table 1 is turned downward the outside of the bar mill 30 and the bar mill 30 is set on the rolling line. The bar steel 51 transported from the bar mill in the preceding stage is rolled and transported to the bar mill in the next stage. When the rolling rate of the bar steel 51 is lower and rolling with this bar mill 30 is unnecessary, the bar mill 30 is pulled out of the rolling line to the off-line place on the working side with a changing cylinder 48. Next, the dummy table 1 is upward turned about 90 deg. through levers 4 and turning shafts 7 with turning cylinders 8 and set in the removed space of the bar mill 30 on the rolling line. And, the opening degree between side guides 6 is adjusted in accordance with the product size of the bar steel 51 with handles 13.

CONSTITUTION:The device has receiving members 32 with a circular receiving part 32a formed at each top end of four arms extended from an axis 33 as a center. The receiving members 32 are intermittently rotated about the axis 33. Elongated materials are supplied to the receiving parts 32a of the receiving members 32 by a conveyor 31 and, upon receipt of the specified number of elongated materials, the receiving members are rotated clockwise and stopped under a binding machine 34. While the receiving members are stopped, the elongated materials are bound by the binding machine 34. When the receiving members 32 are further rotated, the bound elongated materials 30a are guided onto a sliding member 38 and dropped on a chain conveyor 39 to be conveyed.
