    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a mask in a short time without reference to the skillfulness of an operator, to detect abnormality occurring to an outline part, and remove noise except at the outline part. SOLUTION: The plant abnormality detecting device 1 converts a monitor image from a television camera 11 into a digital image by an A/D conversion part 2 and finds the difference image based on a reference image stored in a memory 7 for reference image storage by a difference processing part 3. A mask generation part 6 performs nonlinear luminance conversion for plural difference images found by the difference generation part 3 when an image state decision part 5 decides that there is no abnormality, and stores them in a memory 9 for mask generation and also adds them together to generate a gradation mask. This gradation mask is stored in a memory 10 for mask storage. A mask processing part 4 removes noise components by using the gradation mask stored in the memory 10 for mask storage and stores the result in a difference image storage memory 8. An image state decision part 5 decides whether or not abnormality occurs to the difference image stored in the memory 8.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To duplex a servo card, to exchange the card during an operation and to improve reliability in a digital controller controlling the control valve of a power generation plant and the like. SOLUTION: The servo cards 31a and 31b are connected to the control valve 5 by duplexing them. Opening degree commands (S1a and S1b) from CPU 50 are inputted through a computer bus 14, are D/A-converted inside and are proportionally operated in proportional computing elements 1a and 1b. When switch circuits 4a and 4b are turned off, the command signals are outputted to the control valve 5. An external logic circuit 51 drives either a signal generator 7a or 7b. Either the switch circuit 4a or 4b is turned off by the signal and the control valve 5 is driven. The external logic circuit 51 drives the signal generator of the other servo card so that it is turned on when the servo card during the operation failure and the card which fails is turned off. The normal card is driven from the card during the failure. Then, 32 and 33 are connectors and the card can be exchanged when it fails.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress an influence on a plant to a minimum by regulating and controlling the data update of a hold circuit corresponding to the output signal of a comparator to speedily transmit the operational abnormality of a circuit element to a computer. CONSTITUTION: This circuit is provided with two hold circuits 11-1 and 11-2, two buffer circuits 12 and 17 receiving digital signals, comparator 18 and gate control circuit 13 and the output signal of the first hold circuit 11-1 is sent through the first buffer circuit 12 to a plant 6. At the same time, the output of the first buffer circuit 12 is transmitted to the second buffer circuit 17, the comparator 18 digitally compares the second hold circuit 11-2 with the second buffer circuit 17 to detect the fault of the circuit element, and the data update of the gate control circuit 13 is regulated corresponding to the signal of the comparator. Therefore, the abnormality of a digital signal output circuit 4 is speedily detected and the operation of the gate control circuit 13 is regulated and controlled so that an erroneous digital output signal can be prevented from being sent to the plant.

    • PURPOSE:To surely separate and discriminate whether there is the intrusion of a foreign body such as a human the generation of smoke at the time of detecting abnormality and to attain instantaneous separation/discrimination without requiring timewise processing. CONSTITUTION:When a monitoring video is sent from a television camera 10 to a plant abnormality detector 1, an A/D conversion part 2 converts the video into a digital picture, and a difference processing part 3 finds out 3 difference picture between the digital picture and a reference picture stored in a reference picture storing memory 7 and stores the difference picture in a difference picture storing memory 8. A picture state judging part 5 judges whether a binarized area is larger than the difference picture or not, and when the area is larger, judges the existence of abnormality. A differential processing part 4 executes expansion processing after the binarization of the difference picture stored in the memory 8, executes the differential processing of the difference picture, stores the processed result in a differential picture storing memory 9, and extracts the differential picture of a changed part from the processed result. The judging part 5 judges the existence of a foreign body such as a human when the contour area of the differential picture is larger and judges the generation of smoke when the area is smaller.
