    • PURPOSE:To establish good workability, by the following procedure that a opening of watertight vessel is brought into contact with a surface to be tested in a liquid, and the water is evacuated to form gas phase area, and sampling is performed, followed by etching the surface to be tested by means equipped with heater. CONSTITUTION:An under opening of watertight case 12 is brought into contact with a polished surface 2 to be tested in a liquid through a electromagnet 15, then gas is introduced into the case 12 by a compressor 6 and etc. to evacuate the water in the case 12. As a result, a gas phase area is formed. After drying, the surface 2 is etched with the etching solution from a etching solution vessel 12, washed with alcohol from a vessel 14 and dried rapidly by dry air using a heater 7. Then a partially melting soft synthetic resin is pressed onto the surface 2 with a synthetic resin pressing machine 10 equipped with a pressing metal 9, heater 11 and etc. set in the vessel 12. Peeling off the cooled and solidified resin results in a sample of microscopic observation with good workability.

    • PURPOSE: To stably form penetration beads in an overhead position at the full posture TIG welding by shielding welding arcs, materials to be welded and an electrode with a shielding gas, and injecting an inert gas from the circumference or center of the electrode.
CONSTITUTION: A shielding gas is supplied from a gas supply port 7, is filled in the part encircled by a shielding O-ring 10, a torch body 1, and a collet body 2, and is ejected from a shielding gas discharge port 9. Thereby, welding arcs 11, mateials 12 to be welded and an electrode 4 are shielded from the outside, and welding is carried out by feeding a filler wire 13 manually or by feed rollers 14. At this time, a gas jet ejection port 8 is provided around the electrode 4 or at its center, and the shielding gas is ejected at a high velocity from the port 8 to tighten the arcs 11, so that good penetration beads B are formed by the arc force acting upon a molten pool P and the lifting force G

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a local dry type underwater coating device, by securing the getting of the shielding gas by providing the cylindrical component inside the jet barrel which flows the water jet and then providing both the hardening promoting device of the coating material and the spray nozzle at the center of the cylindrical component in order to form the underwater torch. CONSTITUTION:A uniform mixture is given in the mixing room 5 to the main agent and the hardener which compose the coating material passed through the coating material hoses 4a and 4b to the room 5 by the pump and into the inside of the cylindrical component 1 of the torch T'. These mixed agents are then sprayed onto the basic material M to be coated with a uniform thickness and through the spray nozzle 6. The perfect solventless type two-pack system polyester, polyurethane, tar epoxy and others are preferably used as the coating materials. Both the jet barrel 2 into which the high-speed jet current of the water flows plus the jet nozzle 3 are provided around the component 1 from which the shielding gas is jetted in order to form a steady dry cavity at the coating area B.

    • PURPOSE:To improve welding efficiency by starting deceleration of wire feed speed from a high speed to a low speed just before the welding current changes from high current to low current in the pulse welding method which changes the feed speed of a fly wire according to welding current value. CONSTITUTION:The material 18 to be welded and welding material 11 are pulse- welded by melting a fly wire 8 by the arc generated between the end of an electrode 13 and molten pool 10. In this case, the control signal in which welding current is peak current out of the control signal emitted from a controller 1 with timer by a control signal discriminator 5 is transmitted directly to a welding power source 2 by bypassing a time limit lag delay timer 6. The control signal in which welding current is base current is transmitted to the welding power source 2 by way of the time limit delay timer 6. In this case, adjustment ability of about 0.1-0.01sec is usually possessed to the time limit delay timer 6. By the action of this control system, the deceleration delay time of the wire feed system is made virtually none and the welding of high performance may be performed.

    • PURPOSE:To smoothly perform foil seam welding of thick plate materials by providing more than a pair of rotary auxiliary electrodes before the welding advance direction of a pair of rotary main electrodes which sandwich the base metals by way of foils and stepwise elevating the temperature in the base metal while suppressing the temperature rise of the foils. CONSTITUTION:A pair of rotary auxiliary electrodes 9 which disposed two base metals 1 of plates by way of foils 2 similar to a pair of rotary electrodes 8 which sandwich the butt portions of said base metals 1 by way of the foils 2 are disposed slightly before the welding advance direction of said electrodes 8. Even at the welding of the plates by this device, current may be supplied at the permissible current value or less. While the base metals 1 and foils 2 are passing the electrodes 9, the foils 2 are cooled by the contact with the electrodes 9 whereby their temperature rise is suppressed and with the foils being held kept at a low temperature state only the central part of the base metals 1 is made to a high temperature state. Further while the base metals 1 and foils 2 are passing the electrodes 8, the foils 2 hardly cause temperature rise as compared to that while they are passing the electrodes 9 but the base metals 1 are difficult to receive cooling action from the electrodes 8 and therefore they rise further to a higher temperature state, to the melting point or more of steel, owing to supply current I', in which state welding may be accomplished.
