摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and shorten binding work of nuclear fuel assemblies for transportation by providing a plurality of drive shafts extending in parallel to the internals of a transportation cask and gear mechanism for rotating the shafts in reverse directions to each other and keep link mechanism. SOLUTION: Drive shafts 11 and 13 supported freely rotatably extend in parallel penetrating a supporting projection of an internal 8 in a transportation cask and a spur gear 15 is fitted at the end of the shaft 11. When the end 11a of the shaft 11 is rotated, the shafts 11 and 13 are rotated in reverse directions to each other and the two nuts 19 moves in leaving or approaching directions to each other. If they move in approaching directions, the following roller and roller guide 29 approach to each, other, the two links 31 become parallel, the vertical distance between a guide boss 25 and a link plate 33 becomes maximum and a keep plate 39 touches and suppresses the side of a fuel assembly. With this simple operation of pushing the keep plate 39 to the assembly, the assembly can be bound. Then, an upper casing and a lower casing are fixed to load on a trailer and the like and transport.
