摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the consumption of an impeller by forming a surface hardened layer at least either of the water sealed part or the rotary slidable part of the impeller. CONSTITUTION:An impeller ring 5 and a stage ring 4 are allowed to directly contact with a front plate 21 part and a main plate 22 part, and a hardened layer 31 is formed by quenching the surface layer part in the region where the impeller ring 5 and the stage ring 4 directly contact, to a set hardness HRC of 35-45 or so through the induction heating by use of high frequency in a depth of about 0.5-3mm.. Therefore, the necessity of impeller ring and impeller hob ring, etc. is obviated, and the resistance to abrasion and breakage can be improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a member which can satisfy the requirments specified for a heat treatment without deformation and residual stress in a titled process for producing said member in which an aging treatment, machining or straightening stage is included by dividing the aging treatment stage and performing the other stages mentioned above between the divided stages. CONSTITUTION:Raw materials are melted and cast and the casting is subjected to decomposing, forging and annealing heat treatment then to straightening A of bend with a cold press in the case of producing, for example, a pump shaft of ''Monel K500''. The pump shaft is then subjected to an aging heat treatment A of air cooling at the same temp. as in the prior art in which the heat treatment is performed by as much as half the time specified by standards and the pump shaft is machined and is again subjected to straightening B. Said shaft is in succession subjected to the aging heat treatment B under the same conditions as those for the treatment A to complete a product. The precipitation hardening type alloy member which is free from the deformation and residual stress occuring in the machining and aging treatment and can meet the requirements specified for the heat treatment of the material is thus obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent seizure between spindle and impeller by performing build- up welding of austenite stainless steel onto the contact face with the spindle of impeller then further applying build-up welding of aluminum bronze. CONSTITUTION:A steel impeller 2 is mounted on the spindle made of 13Cr steel. At first, austenite stainless steel is build-up welded onto the contact face with the spindle 1 and the impeller boss section 2' then aluminum bronze is further build-up welded. Consequently, seizure between the spindle 1 and impeller 2 can be prevented to facilitate welding of easy-to-scratch aluminum bronze.
