    • PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of spatters by providing a mechanism capable of feeding plural wires and a power unit to carry out control to deviate by the phase difference corresponding to an almost peak period of time of a peak current for each consumable electrode. CONSTITUTION:In order to reduce the occurrence of spatters based on an arc phenomenon and the behavior of a molten pool, welding currents I1, I2 and I3 are used. Namely, when control signals are impressed upon base terminals of Tr1-Tr3, pulse currents are obtained on the outputs of the Tr1-Tr3. In the same way, when control signals are impressed upon base terminals of Tr4-Tr6, pulse currents are obtained on the outputs of the Tr4-Tr6. In addition, the welding currents I1, I2 and I3 are the sums of the output currents of the Tr1 and Tr4, the Tr2 and Tr5 and the Tr3 and Tr6 respectively. By this method, when the welding currents are pulsed and the application periods of time of the peak currents and the phases of the peak currents are regulated so that the peak currents are not overlapped each other, even if the average welding current is the same, the average electromagnetic force of the pulse currents can be reduced as compared with that in the case of nonpulsative currents.
