    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine securing the dust-removing treatment performance of a filter and properly protecting the turbine by preventing a situation in which cooling air containing excessive dust is supplied to the filter. SOLUTION: The gas turbine 1 includes a turbine cooling structure cooling the turbine 4 with cooling air, and the filter 62 performing dust-removing treatment of the cooling air on an upstream side of the turbine 4. The gas turbine 1 includes supply piping 632 supplying the cooling air to the filter 62, branch piping 635 branched from the supply piping 632 upstream of the filter 62, and a means 71, 721, 722 calculating or estimating a flow rate of dust in the cooling air. In the gas turbine 1, when turbine starting, the supply piping 632 is closed and the branch piping 635 is opened.
