摘要： PURPOSE:To enable to monitor a circulating condition and a circulating amount of steel balls and the like surely at all times by a method wherein a steel ball accumulating tank is divided into upper and lower chambers, which are free of contraction and expansion, and a plurality of spring type batchers are interposed between them in a circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:A scale of a spring type batcher 9 is set at zero under noload condition of a steel ball accumulating tank 1, subsequently, the steel balls are thrown into an upper chamber 1a of the steel ball accumulating tank 1 through a steel ball transporting pipe 2. The steel balls are accumulated in a lower chamber 1b sequentially and a connecting member 5 which is free of contraction and expansion is expanded by a weight thereof, therefore, indications of standard amount of steel balls in the lower chamber 1b and a specified amount thereof are maked on a spring type batcher 9. According to this method, whether the amount of steel balls circulating through a circulating path is normal or not may be confirmed surely from outside by monitoring the indicating mark on the batcher 9.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently remove soot by providing a crest control bar in the distributor of a spreading tube to thereby uniformly spread steel balls over a heat transmitting tube. CONSTITUTION:Steel balls 3 are dropped by opening a damper 2 at the bottom of a hopper 1. The balls 3 thus dropped are fed through a distribution tube 4 and a distributor 7 and from a spreading tube 5 over the upper surface of a heat transmitting tube 6. since the tube 4 is inclined obliquely, the balls 3 flow in numerous amount along the wall of dwonstream side of the tube 4. The amount of the balls 3 dropping on the respective tubes 5 is controlled by moving the bar 8 within the distributor 7 to thereby control the magnitude of the sectional area of the balls 3 passing to the tube 5. Accordingly, the balls 3 exhausted from the tube 5 become uni form to thereby uniformlly remove soot.

摘要： PURPOSE:To uniformly remove soot adhered onto a heat transmitting tube by providing a conical reflecting plate at the downstream side of the opening of a spreading tube to uniformly spread steel balls. CONSTITUTION:A conical reflecting plate 8, the vertex of which is disposed upside, is installed via a supporting bar 9 under the opening of a spreading tube 6. Steel balls 3 dropped through the opening collide with the plate 8 to be reflected on the surface of the plate 8 or to be slidably dropped thereon so as to be thus spread in all directions. Accordingly, the steel balls 3 thus dropping on the heat transmitting tube 7 become uniform to thereby prevent the balls 3 from irregularly spreading at special portion.
