    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the noise resulted from the wind generated from a handrail by forming each plate in such a manner that the space between adjacent plates is changed in the height direction or plate width direction. SOLUTION: Plates 11, 12, 13 curved in plate width D direction are arranged so that the curved surfaces are alternately opposed. The air passage width (b) is gradually changed from b2 and b1 and from b4 to b3 in the plate width D direction. When the space between two plates for passing wind 2 is set as a wind passage, the columnar frequency (n) generated between the plate is changed by D/b when the distance in the advancing direction of the wind 2 (plate width) is D, and the air passage width (the space between adjacent plates) is (b). Thus, the air passage with (b) between the adjacent plates 11, 12, 13 is changed in the plate width D direction or height H direction, whereby the columnar frequency (n) can be distributed by each section between the air passages for passing the wind 2. The generation of a columnar resonance sound having a remarkable high frequency can be avoided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To three-dimensionally distribute a columnar resonant frequency between flat plates and prevent generation of fluid noise by alternately making widths of the flat plates different or changing the width of the flat plate in the longitudinal direction in flat plate parallel structure. SOLUTION: Flat plates 2, 3 different in width are alternately set, and two kinds of columns mutually different in a resonant frequency in the plate width direction exist. At the time, the frequency of columnar vibration by air excitation force becomes discrete, and the noise of a predominant frequency is difficult to occur. In addition, in the case where the width of the flat plate is changed in the direction of height of a plate row, the columnar frequency between the flat plates is remarkably changed by the ratio of the plate width to the pitch of the plate row constituting a balustrade 1. In other words, in another case where the plate width is changed in the direction of the height of the flat plate, the columnar frequency is changed in the direction of the height of the flat plate, and generation of a columnar resonant sound having the predominant frequency such as a flute playing sound is avoided. Thereby application can be freely made to producibility and design by performing consideration from design start.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the source of vibration from a tube body and avoid oval vibration in the tube body by a method wherein an inner tube is provided in the tube body near the curved part of a smoke discharging passage from a flue to the tube body so as to have double tubular type with a gap between the inner tube and the inner surface of the tube body. SOLUTION: An inner tube 200 is provided at a curved pat 2 from a flue 1 to a tube body 3 so as to be double tubular type. The length l2 of the inner tube 200 is as high as 1.5d at most when the diameter of the tube body 3 is shown by (d). The inner tube 200 is fixed to a base as well as the flue 1 and is provided so as not to be contacted with the tube body 3. Exhaust smoke, sent from a boiler or the like into the flue 1, is curved at a curved part 2 and is discharged out of the outlet port 4 of the chimney through the tube body 3 while generating a fluctuating pressure at the inside of the inner tube 200. In this case, the fluctuating pressure is generated in the curved part 2 from the flue 1 to the tube body 3, however, the fluctuating pressure exerts only on the inner surface of the inner tube 200 having a sufficient strength and will not exert on the tube body 3, readily generating the oval vibration, and, accordingly, the oval vibration will not be induced in the tube body 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of eddies at the upstream ends of a rectangular flat plates constituting a handrail, and prevent the reattachment of separation flow by fitting circular pipes or circular rods whose diameter is at least specified times the thickness of the rectangular flat plate, to both end peripheries or one end periphery of the rectangular flat plates which have been erected at nearly equal intervals. SOLUTION: To both end peripheries or one end periphery of the rectangular flat plates which have been erected at nearly equal intervals, round heads 2 whose diameter is at least 1.5 times the thickness of the rectangular flat plate are fitted. As the round head 2, a circular pipe in which a slit having nearly the same width as the thickness of the rectangular flat plate 1 is cut is fitted to the end part of the rectangular flat plate 1. A circular rod may be fitted to the end of the rectangular flat plate 1. Thus, the occurrence of eddies at the upstream end parts of the rectangular flat plates constituting a handrail can be securely prevented, and also the reattachment of separation flow can be prevented, so that the occurrence of noise can be sufficiently reduced.
