摘要： PURPOSE:To cool a rotary shaft without machining the rotary shaft by cooling the outer ring of a bearing through a bearing holder which attached onto a cooling ring cooled by the cooling liquid in a liquid reservoir and cooling the inner ring of the bearing by the cooling liquid supplied from cooling-liquid jetting holes. CONSTITUTION:The inside diameter of a cooling ring 17 tightly fitted onto a bearing holder 14 is sufficiently larger than the outside diameter of a main shaft 15, and an annular gap is formed. A plurality of cooling-oil jetting-out holes 19 in radial form which communicate to a groove-shaped oil reservoir 18 on the outer periphery of the ring 17 and the inner peripheral surface of the ring 17 are formed. Cooling oil 11 is sent into the oil reservoir 18 through a cooling-oil feeding passage 23, and passes through the injection holes 19, and is allowed to adhere onto a rotary shaft 15, and returned to a cooling apparatus 21 through a storage part 12 and then cooled. The cooling oil fills the oil reservoir 18, and the bearing holder 14 is cooled with the ring 17, and the generated heat of the outer ring of a bearing 16 is absorbed. The cooling oil 11 which is allowed to adhere onto the main shaft 15 absorbs the generated heat on the inner ring of the bearing 16 through the main shaft 15.
