摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat in a small-scale tank without requiring expensive chemicals by implementing an anaerobic process in which nitrogen compounds in drainage are treated biologically under aerobic or anaerobic conditions, a nitrification process, a denitrification process, and an oxidation process in which organic substances are treated biologically in sequence. SOLUTION: Desulfurization drainage 11 is introduced into an anaerobic tank 1. The nitrate ions in the drainage 11 are reduced into nitrogen gas by denitrification bacteria, and simultaneously peroxosulfuric acid is reduced into sulfate ions. In a nitrification tank 3, ammonium ions are oxidized into nitrite ions by nitrite bacteria and nitrate bacteria and nitrified further into nitrate ions. The nitrite ions and the nitrate ions are reduced biologically into nitrogen gas and others. In an oxidation tank 5, organic substances such as methanol which were added to the denitrification tank 4 and remaining in denitrification treated liquid are oxidized into carbon dioxide gas and others by methanol decomposing bacteria.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove inhibition factors by oxidizing substances contained in drainage and to perform biotreatment stably and efficiently by a process in which a reducing agent is added before a biotreatment process is order to decompose peroxosulfuric acid, which is an oxidizing substance contained in drainage, and biotreatment is implemented. SOLUTION: Desulfurization drainage 21 is introduced into a flocculation/ precipitation tank 1. After flocks generated in the tank 1 being precipitated, the supernatant is introduced into an oxidizing substances decomposition tank 2a. In order to decompose peroxosulfuric acid, treated liquid introduced from the tank 1 is mixed with an iron (II) compound 25 under neutral conditions. Water-soluble iron (II) salts such as iron (II) sulfate and iron (II) chloride are used as the iron (II) compound 25. The treated liquid from here is introduced from a nitrification tank 3 into a denitrification tank 4 to be subjected to nitrification/denitrification treatment. By decomposing oxidizing substances such as peroxosulfuric acid contained in the desulfurization drainage 21, a succeeding nitrification/denitrification treatment can be done smoothly without affecting microorganisms.

SOLUTION: In the exhaust gas desulfurizing method using wet lime method for treating the waste gas containing sulfur oxide and nitrogen oxide, an oxidizing stage in which total quantity or a part of filtrate is adjusted to pH 3-4 and an oxidizing agent is added after discharging a part of absorbing slurry at a desulfurizing stage, adding a heavy metal chelate agent and separating gypsum, a neutralizing stage in which an alkali agent is added to the mixture to adjust the mixture to pH 7-9.5 and a solid-liq. separating stage for subjecting the neutralized adjusted liq. to solid-liq. separation are provided and the exhaust gas desulfurizing system using the method is provided.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the adverse effect of the oxidants contained in the stack gas desulfurization waste water on the microorganism in the treatment of the waste water discharged from a wet atack gas desulfurizing plant and to provide the method for treating the stack gas desulfurization waste water with high efficiency. SOLUTION: The sulfur oxides in a waste combustion gas are absorbed and removed by a wet stack gas desulfurizer. The waste water discharged from the desulfurizer is brought into contact with activated carbon under reducing conditions to decompose the oxidants in the waste water. Consequently, the subsequent biological treatment including nitration and denitrification is smoothly performed without adversely affecting the microorganism. Further, since the micropore diameter of the activated carbon is not broken by persulfuric acid, the deactivation of the activated carbon as a catalyst is prevented, and the exchange frequency is drastically decreased.
