    • PURPOSE:To negate a reactance component of the antenna against an FM signal extending over a wide band, and elevate the receiving sensitivity, by suitably selecting the length of a feeder for AM use, in the circuit which has connected two feeders for both AM and FM use, to one antenna. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is constituted of a vertical pole antenna 1, an AM feeder 2 and an FM feeder 3, and as for these feeders 2, 3, two coaxial lines coated with the sheathed inside conductors 4, 4' form a cable 5 in one body. To this cable 5 are connected a distribution branching filter 9 and a compound branching filter 12. An AM signal which has been received by the antenna 1 is cut off by the capacitors 8, 11, passes through the feeder 2, and on the other band, an FM signal is cut off by the coil 10, passes through the feeder 3, and they are input to the plug 6. According to this constitution, when electric length of the antenna 1 and electric length l1 of the feeder 2 one regulated to (l) and (l+lambda n/2), respectively, a reactance component of the antenna 1 against the FM signal is negated extending over a wide band. In this way, the receiving sensitivity of AM and FM signals is elevated.

Then the ratio of sound recording speed and reproduction speed at the reproduction thereafter is controlled to be smaller than the unity, the reproduction speed is increased and the timewise delay between a reproduction signal and a signal of a current broadcast is eliminated, resulting that the playback switch 8 is opened when both the signals are coincident. Thus, it is possible to reproduce the content of the other commercial broadcast broadcasting while the traffic information is listened to is reproduced and listened to again.
