    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an applying apparatus capable of adjusting the film thickness of a coating agent applied on the whole periphery/whole length of the outer periphery of the wire while suppressing the deterioration of the coating agent.
      SOLUTION: The diameter of a guide hole of an inlet side guide is formed to be smaller than that of an immersion hole and the diameter of a guide hole of an outlet side guide is formed to be smaller than that of the immersion hole to retain the coating agent in the immersion hole of a cylindrical container. The guide hole of the inlet side guide, the immersion hole of the cylindrical container, the guide hole of the outlet side guide and an adjusting hole of an adjusting die are present coaxially. The wire is introduced from the guide hole of the inlet side guide, passed through the immersion hole of the cylindrical container and the wire on which the coating agent is applied is led from the guide hole of the outlet side guide and, when the wire is passed though the adjusting hole, the film thickness of the coating agent applied on the wire is adjusted.
