摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the manufacturing efficiency and heat resistance by using a glass fiber toughened polybutylene terephthalate resin at the mouth part of a bottle. CONSTITUTION:On the mouth part and bottom part, if desired, of a plastic bottle of which major ingredient is a polyethylene terephthalate resin monomer, a glass fiber reinforced polyethylene terephthalate resin is used. For the major material of the bottle, i.e., polyethylene terephthalate resin, polyethylene terephthalate resins, e.g., a part of the terephthalic acid unit is replaced with an isophthalic acid unit, can be used. By this method, the manufacturing efficiency and heat resistance can be enhanced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the heat resistance of a bottle by a method wherein terephthalic acid/cyclohexanedimethanol-based polyester is used at the mouth part and the bottom part of a plastic bottle, which is mainly made of polyethylene terephthalate resin. CONSTITUTION:Terephthalic acid/cyclohexanedimethanol-based polyester is used at the mouth part of a plastic bottle, which is mainly made of polyethylene terephthalate resin. Further, terephthalic acid/cyclohexanedimethanol-based polyester can be used also at the bottom part of the plastic bottle. In the structural unit of the terephthalic acid/cyclohexanedimethanol-based polyster, at least 70mol% of the acid component is preferably terephthalic acid and multivalent carboxylic acid such as phthalic acid or the like a the acid component is used with the limit of less than 30mol% of the total acid component. Furthermore, at least 30mol% of the alcohol component in its unit is preferably cyclohexanedimethanol.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the solvent resistance with respect to problems such as corrosion, whitening, crack or liquid leakage caused by a solvent at the mouth and shoulder parts by obtaining a solvent resistant polyester bottle as a whole, with a specific extremely small amount of lamination at the mouth, neck and shoulder parts. CONSTITUTION:A solvent resistant film is made to be a tube shape by heat- sealing, etc. On a core 1 for parison, the tube shaped film 2 is placed at the pertinent parts such as mouth, neck and shoulder, etc. Then, when a polyester is injection-molded, a molded object, for which the solvent resistant film 2 is integrally laminated on the inside of a parison 3, is made. If the placed film is made of a polyester which has the same material as the parison, a sufficient bonding strength can be obtained without applying a special treatment at the time of injection-molding, which is quite profitable. Then, if a bottle is formed by a normal drawing-blowing method, at the mouth, neck and shoulder parts, the drawn film is laminated, and a polyester bottle 4 with a better solvent resistance can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:In preparing a plastic bottle molded mainly from a polyethylene terephthalate resin, at least the mouth of the bottle is formed from a resin compsn. which comprises 30-60wt.% polycarbonate resin [pref. a bisphenol A polycarbonate resin (having a viscosity average mol.wt. of about 10000-70000) in terms of improving heat resistance] and 70-40wt.% thermoplastic polyester resin (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) and satisfies the formula wherein, WF (wt.%) is the content of the polycarbonate resin in the compsn. and WS (wt.%) is the amt. of the polycarbonate resin dissolved in methylene chloride when the compsn. is extracted with methylene chloride on a Soxhlet extractor. The prepd. bottle is useful as a container for the contents requiring sterilization in filling the bottle, esp. as a container for a fruit juice beverage.
