    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production cost by decreasing repeated heating and cooling procedures. SOLUTION: An internal lump part 12 to constitute an internal semiconductive layer is formed of a semiconducting rubber material having high viscosity on a core 9a. Next, a middle lump part 15 to constitute an insulated cylindrical part is formed of an insulating rubber material having high viscosity on the internal lump part 12 and around the periphery of the core 9a. Then, an external lump part 18 to constitute an external semiconducting layer is formed of the semiconducting rubber material having high viscosity on the middle lump part 15 and around the periphery of the core 9a. Lastly, by using a heating/pressuring container 19, the respective lump parts 12, 15, 18 are given heating treatment at a time for curing the rubber materials to make a normal temperature shrinkage type tube.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the member constituting the connection of a cable and also, facilitate the connection work when constituting the cable connection by arranging an electrode member around the junction between two cable conductors, and attaching a reinforcing insulator to the outside, and arranging an insulating cover. CONSTITUTION:Conductor connectors 30 and 30a attached to the tips of two cable conductors 2 and 2a are inserted, in butted condition, into a roughly cylindrical electrode member 50, and those are connected in a body, using locking members arranged at the tips of the conductor connectors. A projection conforming to the outline of the conductor connectors is provided at the inner face of the electrode member 50 so that space does not occur at the inner face of the electrode member. Then, a reinforcing member 45 made of polyethylene is attached in the form of covering the connection, and a processor for performing heating and pressing from outside the reinforcing member is arranged, thus bridged and softened one of polyethylene being made by giving heat and pressure to the reinforcing insulator is pressed to it, and the through hole of the reinforcing insulator is pressed against the cable and the connection, thus they can be molded integrally.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a foreign material from intruding through a changeover valve by eliminating provision of a changeover valve in a filling path for making a reinforcing insulator of a resin material in a cable connecting portion in treating the connecting portion of a cable such as a CV cable used in a high voltage transmission cable line. CONSTITUTION:In a molding portion of a reinforcing insulator for covering the connecting portion of a CV cable, a space 12 in conformity with a shape of the reinforcing insulator is formed inside a metal mold 10, and such a means is used as to press-fill crosslinked polyethylene or the like into the space 12 for solidification. In order to fill the resin material, a resin filling short tube 40 is fixed to the metal mold 10, and resin is supplied to the resin filling short tube from an extruder via a flexible filling tube 30. Resin is filled in the connecting portion between the resin filling short tube 40 and the flexible filling tube 30 by the use of a connecting means such as a box nut 42. After that, the resin filling short tube is crushed so as to form a closed portion, or the resin remaining inside the resin filling short tube is cooled for solidification so as to form a plug made of resin. Consequently, it is possible to maintain a pressure inside the metal mold.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a connector having high insulating performance and high reliability by previously crosslinking prefabricated reinforcing insulator containing high voltage shielding electrode. CONSTITUTION:A prefabricated reinforcing insulator 8 mounted on the outer peripheries of a conductor cover 4 and an insulator 5 having the same diameter as that of the cover 4 is formed in a cylindrical spinning cylinder made at the center in a cylindrical shape and at both right and left sides in tapered surfaces, and contains a cylindrical high voltage shielding electrode 10 made of a conductive metal material or a rubber/plastic material having conductivity therein. Insulating layer 1, 1', the insulator 5 having the same diameter and the insulator 8 are fusion-bonded to be integrated when the insulator 5 is crosslinked by pressurizing and heating after they are associated as a connector. The insulator 8 is previously crosslinked, and formed of crosslinked rubber/ plastic insulating composition such as crosslinked polyethylene.

    • PURPOSE:To easily detect the existence and position of a pinhole by installing sound wave detecting sensors at two places on a tubular body, detecting the sound which is formed by the leak of the pressurized gas from the pinhole on a pipe, and comparing the wave shape of the sound wave. CONSTITUTION:When a pin-hole 11 exists on a tubular body 1, pressurized gas leaks from inside, and leak noise reaches both the edges of the pipe 1, and detected by the sound wave detection sensors 21 and 22, and the result is displayed on the display devices 31 and 32, and the sound wave shape is compared. If the wave height values of the displayed wave shapes of the sensors 31 and 32 are equal, the pinhole 11 exists at the intermediate point of the positions of the sensors 21 and 22, and if the wave height value on the display device 31 side is sufficiently large, it is judged that the pinhole 11 exists in the vicinity of the sensor 21. The installation division of the sensors 21 and 22 is represented in ratio form from the ratio of the attenuation degree of the wave form, and the position of the pinhole can be calculated.
