摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a blanket for fusion reactor in which overcooling problem of tritium breeder due to cooling water channel on the side wall of blanket container is solved. CONSTITUTION:Overcooling problem is solved by placing a thermal insulating member 8, i.e., a woven fabric of stainless steel wires as thin as 50mum or less, between a can 5 filled with tritium breeder 2 and the side walls 1a, 1b of blanket. Thermal insulation effect equivalent to that of conventional ceramic thermal insulation member can be achieved. Furthermore, tritium adsorption problem by the thermal insulation member can also be solved using quite thin stainless steel wires while enhancing workability.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve soundness and reliability of a welded part by facilitating cutting and reconnection of each sector for placing a vacuum vessel in connection. CONSTITUTION:In connection of sectors of a double wall vacuum vessel for a nuclear fusion device, welding is carried out by providing a required number of rewelding bevels 7 on both of the outer wall 2 side and the inner wall 1 side of each sector connection constructive part 6a and by interposing connecting and cutting cover plates 3a, 4a on both of the inner and outer walls (conventionally on the inner wall side only). At the time of reconnection, a new cover plate is welded by using the rewelding bevels 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To form three-dimensionally curved surfaces which are smooth along the shape of plasma by curving plural intermediate members consisting of any of U-shaped beams, I beams, hat type beams, trapezoidal beams, etc., in a poloidal direction. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum vessel is constituted by curving respective plural pipes 8 in a poloidal direction theta, interposing the square pipes 8 parallel in the toroidal direction between the outside wall 5 and the inside wall 4 of the vessel and fixing the pipes 8 by welding to the outside wall 5 and inside wall 4 of the vessel. The outside wall 5 and the inside wall 4 of the vessel are integrally connected by the square pipes 8 in such a manner, by which the smooth cubic curve surfaces are formed along the shape of the plasma. The smaller overlaying is required and the strain by heat input is decreased at the time of welding the inside and outside surfaces of the square pipes 8 to the inside and outside walls 4, 5 of the vessel. The vacuum vessel having high accuracy is thus obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To allow a support leg to posess full flexibility in the radial direction of a fusion device without any buckling of the support leg by combining and connecting leaf springs between upper and lower support plates so that the leaf springs provide tensile force for downward load produced in a torus structure. CONSTITUTION:Leaf spring attachment structural bodies 1 are downward attached to an upper side support pedestal 4 composing an upper support plate receiving device weight while leaf spring attachment structural bodies 2 are upward mounted on a lower side support pedestal 5 composing a lower support plate. The centeral member of the structural body 1 is T-shaped, the members at both ends thereof are L-shaped and the structural body 2 is a T-shaped member. Connection is performed between the structural bodies 1, 2 in a condition to pull thin leaf springs 3. Accordingly weight load becomes load in the tensile direction of the leaf plates 3 and there is no plate buckling. The total cross section of a plurality of the leaf springs 3 have strength necessary for support of the weight and individual plate thickness is designed to be fully thin so that a support leg mat be flexibly followed to displacement in the radial direction.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a vacuum container for nuclear fusion device which needs no complicated bevel processing, can secure duplicate vacuum seals at all the parts, and has a high welding reliability. CONSTITUTION:This vacuum container has a circular inner wall 1, a circular outer wall 2 surrounding the inner wall 1, and a port opening 16 formed by penetrating the inner wall 1 and the outer wall 2. An outer frame 10 inserted to the port opening 16 and welded to the inner wall 1 and the outer wall 2, and an inner frame 11 inserted to the outer frame 10, are provided. Each of the outer frame 10 and the inner frame 11 has flanges 10a and 11a, and, steps 10b and 11b, and a lid plate 12 is welded and connected to the steps. By composing a hollow box form which consists of the outer frame 10 and the inner frame 11 in such a way, the welding parts are not necessary to form in a thick skin, and a complicated bevel processing is also not necessary. And since the welding line in the outer wall side of the vacuum container is closed only in the outer wall side, and the welding line at the inner wall side is also closed only in the inner wall side, a duplicate sealing can be secured.
