摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a governor weight which is excellent in strength and accuracy, by cold-forging a plurality of governor weights in an integral structure, and by cutting the integral structure into pieces having a predetermined shape after this structure is cut to form an outer peripheral surface and an inclined peripheral surface. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of governor weights 15 are formed in an integral structure material by cold-forging. This material obtained by cold-forging is circumferentially cut to form an outer peripheral surface 15b and an inclined peripheral surface 15a corresponding to the inner peripheral surfaces of a weight guide and a receiving member which is relatively displaced. Accordingly, the outer peripheral surface section 15b and the inclined peripheral section 15a may be formed to be concentric in true circular forms. Further, the specific weight of each governor weight may be large, and therefore, the centrifugal force obtained thereby is also great and uniform. Further, when the governor weights are displaced outward, they make into stable contact with the receiving member to obtain a large contact resistance. Thereby, it is possible to provide a high performance governor device having no quick return. Accordingly, it is possible to mass-product cheap and ideal governor weights which are excellent in strength and accuracy.
