摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the freeze-resistance of farm crops such as tea, leaf vegetables, root vegetables and fruits by applying an alginic acid oligosaccharide to the plant or the soil. CONSTITUTION:An alginic acid oligosaccharide composition composed of gluronic acid and/or mannuronic acid and having a degree of polymerization of 2-20 is directly applied to a crop or applied to soil. In the case of a winter- harvesting crop such as cabbage, the composition is applied preferably during the period from the sowing to a nursery bed to the transplantation to a paddy field or at the transplantation or before the start of head formation. For a crop susceptible to frost injury, the composition is preferably applied 1-2 months before the sprouting of new sprout or the period having frost injury risk. The concentration is preferably 100-1,000ppm in the case of applying the composition in liquid form e.g. by irrigation and the rate of application is preferably 1-7.5kg per 1ha in terms of solid.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase fertilizer response by applying alginic acid oligosaccharide (AO) to field crop, lawn, other planting, etc. CONSTITUTION:This is a fertilizer response-promoting agent containing AO as active component or holding AO on a carrier (e.g. active carbon) or a fertilizer response-promoting fertilizer composed of a fertilizer and AO. A compounding ratio of AO in the fertilizer response-promoting fertilizer is 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of a liquid fertilizer and 0.01-1.0 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of a solid fertilizer. Fertilizing amount is 10-500ppm in the case of liquid fertilizer and 40-4500g every 10 are in the case of solid fertilizer, in terms of AO respectively. These materials are each used by spraying on leaves, mixing into irrigation water, adding into water of water culture or directly applying on soil. AO is an oligosaccharide composition obtained by decomposing alginic acid, sodium alginate, or algae such as tangle or polysaccharide produced by microorganisms containing alginic acid in the presence of an enzyme such as alginic acid lyase or hydrolyzing these materials with an acid such as hydrochloric acid.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the control of elution of fertilizer response components with a high accuracy by enclosing fertilizer salts in a molded product capable of controlling the elution of the fertilizer response components. SOLUTION: This fertilizer for a field is obtained by enclosing fertilizer salts in a molded product capable of controlling the elution of fertilizer response components with a material having small holes or a coating material. Since the molded product has a uniform pore diameter distribution, the elution of the fertilizer salts is uniform and the elution rate after application of the fertilizer is stable. The material having the small holes is prepared by forming the small holes in a fibrous material and a cloth of natural fibers or semisynthetic fibers such as a plain cloth or a twill cloth of synthetic fibers and a fabric such as a nonwoven fabric are cited. A fabric subjected to finishing treatment and a fabric covered with the material having the small holes or the like are cited as the molded product having the small holes. The covered material is a covering material containing a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin and a bag-shaped, a capsular materials and the like are cited. A powdery, a granular and a pasty forms and the like are cited as the fertilizer salts. The fertilizer for the field may directly be scattered on soil. The fertilizer enclosing 10-30 kg fertilizer salts is preferably used for a paddy field and the fertilizer enclosing 0.3-100 g fertilizer salts is preferably used for an upland field, a protected horticulture, a land under perennial crops or the like.
