    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for transplanting fruit trees capable of carrying out various works such as digging holes for transplanting, new planting, digging out fruit trees for replanting, displacing of dug fruit trees, planting of young trees to transplanting holes, improving soil, root pruning, and the like. SOLUTION: A boring device having several sets of linear spiral boring blades 17 capable of moving up and down while horizontally rotating in normal and reverse directions is put on the outer periphery of a fruit tree T, each spiral boring blade 17 is rotated in the normal direction to bore the soil and stopped when a predetermined depth is attained, then, the boring device is lifted as it is to pull out the fruit tree together with the soil around the root and the tree is pulled out from the mass of soil by reversely rotating each spiral boring blade. Or, the boring device is put on the surface of a farm field to which the fruit tree is going to be transplanted, the spiral blades 17 are bored into the soil and the blades are stopped when a desired depth is reached, the boring device is lift up to leave a planting hole H and the boring blades 17 are pulled out from the mass of soil by reversely rotating them.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the link mechanism which performs output shaft rotating speed control over a hydraulic transmission, etc., continuously from the neutral position to the normal rotation or reversing side so that the manipulated variable of a control input lever is larger than the controlled variable of a control output lever nearby the neutral position. SOLUTION: The control input lever 1 and control output lever 2 are provided side by side opposite each other so as to mutually rotate on fulcra 3 and 8 of rotation, a couple of swing plates 4a and 4b which have their base ends pivoted on the control input lever 1 and their free end sides extended spreading toward the control output lever 2 are provided on both the sides of the fulcrum 3 of rotation of the control input lever 1, and a spring 9 is interposed in the free ends of the swing plates 4a and 4b; and one-end sides of link levers 7a and 7b are pivoted on the free ends of the swing plates 4a and 4b through support shafts 5a and 5b, the other-end sides of the link levers 7a and 7b are pivoted associatively on the control output lever 2 through support shafts 6a and 6b, and the elongation axis of the fulcrum 3 of rotation of the control input lever 1 is positioned nearby the intersection of the prolongations of the link levers 7a and 7b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-having vegetable cutting device which is suitably adopted into a harvester for harvesting head-having vegetables such as cabbages and which can precisely cut off the rhizomes of the vegetables from the head portions. SOLUTION: A nipping and carrying portion 2 is synchronously driven with a cutting blade-driving portion 6. It is detected that the rhizome of a vegetable having a head is placed at a prescribed position in the nipping and carrying portion 2. and a cutting blade 5 is then reciprocatively moved from the side of the nipping and carrying portion 2 to a position for carrying the rhizome. The cutting blade 5 has a circular or curved cross-sectional shape expanded on the side of the head 1a. A contact terminal 7 coming into contact with the carried rhizome is disposed between one pair of right and left augers in the nipping and carrying portion 2. The cutting blade-driving portion 6 is driven in connection with the contact terminal to once reciprocate the cutting blade from a cutting-waiting position to a cutting position. In interlock with the operation of the cutting blade-driving portion 6 the connection of the contact terminal to the cutting blade-driving portion 6 is cancelled. Energizing mechanisms 13, 14 for returning the contact terminal to the contact-waiting position at a stage when the rhizome is carried to a position being not in contact with the contact terminal are arranged.
