    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information representing that a part of a traffic light is turned off while securing the evenness of display parts by equalizing arrangement and light colors of light sources in the display parts to those of an ordinary LED type one for clearer distinction between a lighted displayed part and an unlighted display part.
      SOLUTION: In this traffic light having a plurality of display parts 2, which are displayed by arranging a plurality of small area light emission light sources 1 and lighted in different colors, a retroreflective member 3 reflecting in a different form from that in a lighting time of the display part 2 is arranged in a part of the display part 2. The retroreflective member 3 may be arranged on a background board 5 on which the light source 1 inside the display part 2. The light color of the retroreflective member 3 may be set to blue, or a sign including any "figure"/"letter" may be formed by the retroreflective member 3.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of harmonic radiation and to prevent its adverse effect inflicting on the circumferential electronic apparatuses by a method wherein the quality of material of a first and a second cores is properly selected, the permeability of the first core is made higher than that of the second core in the fundamental frequency of coil exciting circuit, and the frequency in a harmonic region of the former is made lower than the latter. CONSTITUTION:The quality of material of a first core 1 and a second core 2 is selected in such a manner that the permeability of the first core 1 becomes higher than that of the second core 2 in the fundamental frequency of coil exciting current and that the permeability of the former becomes lower than that of the latter in a higher harmonic region. Accordingly, the iron loss of the device is suppressed in the fundamental frequency of coil exciting current, and heat generation become small. Also, the permeability of the second core 2 becomes higher in the frequency of the higher harmonic region, and leakage to outside of magnetic flux generated by the frequency of coil exciting current in the higher harmonic region is reduced. As a result, higher harmonic radiant noise is reduced, and the adverse effect inflicting on the circumferential electric apparatuses and the increase in power consumption of the device can be prevented.

CONSTITUTION:Pot cores 11 and 12 are composed of inner magnetic paths 13 and 15, which pass through a bobbin 10, and the outer magnetic paths 14 and 16 which are externally fit to the bobbin 10. The butt-together surfaces 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the inner magnetic paths 13 and 15, and the outer magnetic paths 14 and 16 are divided into two parts of protruding parts 21, 23, 24 and 25, and recessed parts 22, 24, 26 and 28 in circumferential direction. As the distance between magnetic bodies becomes smaller and an opposing area becomes wider, the magnetic reluctance becomes smaller; the magnetic reluctance becomes larger in the order of the state of theta=0 deg. (the state wherein the protruding parts 21 and 25, and the protruding parts 23 and 27 are opposingly positioned) theta=90 deg. and theta=180 deg., while the inductance becomes lower. At the same time, the variable amount of inductance is increased compared with the case of the where the recessed and protruding parts are formed only in the inner magnetic parts as by the method heretofore in use.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain eddy current loss and reduce temperature rise, by a method wherein the region where the eddy current flows is limited when magnetic flux interlinks a conductor foil, by forming the conductor foil in a slender type, and arranging a lot of the foils on an insulating sheets so as to keep insulation intervals. CONSTITUTION:A pair of insulating sheets 2 wherein a lot of slender conductor foils 1 are arranged so as to keep insulation intervals and electrodes 3 are formed on both ends of the conductor foils 1 are prepared. These insulating sheets 2 are stacked and wound, in the manner in which the longitudinal direction of the conductor foil 1 is made the winding direction. Hence the conductor foils 1 arranged on each insulating sheet 2 function as capacitors. When currents are made to flow in the same direction through the conductor foils 1 on each insulating sheet 2, the function as choke coils is obtained. The conductor foils 1 have a slender type and arranged on the insulating sheet 2 so as to keep insulation intervals in the above manner, so that the region where a current flows is limited when magnetic flux interlinks the conductor foils 1. Thereby eddy current loss is restrained, and temperature rise can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent both increase in power consumption and heat generation on circumferential components by a method wherein a closed magnetic circuit is formed of a first L-type coil, which passes through a coil, and a second L-type core provided outside the core, and a gap is formed by opposing the side face of both end parts of the second L-type core to both edge faces of the first L-type core. CONSTITUTION:A closed magnetic circuit is formed of a first L-type core 2, which passes through a coil 1, and a second L-type core 3 provided outside the coil, and gaps A and B are formed by opposing the side faces of both edge parts of a second L-type core to both edge faces of the first L-type core 2 respectively. Accordingly, the magnetic flux generated on the first L-type core 2 by the coil 1 is transferred from one edge face to the side face of one edge part of the second L-type core 3 through the intermediary of the gaps, the magnetic flux then returns from the side face of the other edge part of the second L-type core to the other edge face of the first L-type core 2 through the gaps, and leakage magnetic flux is reduced. As a result, the increase of power consumption and the heat generation of the circumferential components can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent cracklike destructions of a core and improve reliability for moisture resistance by providing a core supporting part onto a bobbin and supporting an I-shaped core in a state that cavities are provided at both ends of its core, thereby making the core supporting part and the I-shaped core stick fast to each other in assembling. CONSTITUTION:An I-shaped core 23 and a core supporting part 20 which is mounted into at least one of a pair of cavities 27 at both ends of the I-shaped core are provided on a bobbin 10 and the bobbin makes the core supporting part 20 and the I-shaped core 23 stick fast to each other. Then, the I-shaped core 23 is supported in a state that its core provides the cavities 27 on both its ends by the core supporting part 20 which is prepared on the bobbin 10 and then, the part 20 and core 23 are stuck to each other on the occasion of assembling. Cracklike destructions of cores 23 and 24 resulting from differences in coefficients of water absorption swelling between the bobbin 10 and the cores 23 and 24 are prevented and an electromagnetic device which is superior in reliability for moisture resistance is thus obtd.
