摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the high frequency characteristics by using, for an electrode for an electrolytic capacitor, a sintered body made by laminating a plurality of moldings made of valve metal powder and sintering the laminate, with the sintered body having such a structure that sintered layers corresponding to each molding may be laminated. SOLUTION: Fine powder of valve metal is compression-molded into a plate- like molding. Next, a plurality of such plate-like moldings are laminated on the metal foil 3 to form a laminate. Finally, the laminate is sintered under a predetermined condition to form a valve metal porous body 2 to complete an electrode 20 for an electrolytic capacitor. As a result, a contact resistance with respect to a cathode can be reduced since the surface area of the valve member porous body 2 is increased. Moreover, the high frequency characteristics can be improved since an equivalent series resistance of the electrolytic capacitor can be reduced.

The matrix resin to be compounded with the components A and B is preferably a thermoplastic resin or a reactive curing resin excluding fluororesin and the amounts of the components A and B are preferably 1-20 pts.wt. and 1-5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the matrix resin, respectively. The component A is preferably graft-polymerized to the matrix resin.
