    • PURPOSE:To improve electrifying efficiency without impairing the controlling ability of electrifying potential by providing a control grid part between a plane formed by a square hole part and a photoreceptor and making the control grid part proximate to the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The control grid part 2c is provided between the plane formed by the square hole part 2b and the photoreceptor 1. As a result, all the grid electrodes of the control grid part 2c effectively control the electrifying potential, so that the irregularity of the electrifying potential in the shaft direction of the photoreceptor 1 becomes small and the nearly uniform electrifying potential is obtained in this case as compared with the conventional case that the irregularity of the electrifying potential in the shaft direction of the photoreceptor 1 is large because the grid electrode of the control grid part 2c does not effectively control the electrifying potential. Namely, since all the grid electrodes of the control grid part 2c effectively controls the electrifying potential, the control grid part 2c is made minimum in size, the square hole part 2b is made large in size, and the electrifying efficiency is improved while keeping the uniformness of the electrifying potential required for securing image quality.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a heat generation part of an optical pickup whichever position the optical pickup is in.
      SOLUTION: An optical disk device is provided with; a rotating part for rotating an optical disk medium; the optical pickup provided with a laser light emission part which generates laser light to be radiated to the optical disk medium; an air current generation part for generating an air current; and a flexible tube which guides the generated air current to the optical pickup in order to cool the laser light emission part. Gas is always intensively blown to the laser light emission part by using the flexible tube though the optical pickup is moved , so that the laser light emission part is efficiently cooled.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temperature irregularity on the outer surface of a heat roller by providing a tubular member having a heating element inside with a graphite layer having the anisotropy of heat conductivity that heat conductivity is different according to a heat conducting direction. SOLUTION: This heat roller 14 is provided with a bar-like halogen lamp 2 in space inside a tubular heat roller main body 12 made of aluminum. The roller 14 is provided with the graphite layer 11 on the inner surface of the main body 12. The layer 11 has the anisotropy of the heat conductivity and is constituted so that a direction having the high heat conductivity may be equal to the direction of the rotary shaft of the roller 14 in substance. Furthermore, the roller 14 is provided with a Teflon(R) coating layer 13 on the outer surface of the main body 12. Thus, in the case of consecutively performing fixation to small size paper such as a postcard, the unevenness of area temperature in a paper passing area and areas on both sides of the paper passing area is softened and faulty fixation caused by the unevenness of the surface temperature of the roller 14 and the occurrence of offset caused by heating the area are prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress overheating in a paper nonpassing region, to prevent the damage of a shaft end part and to secure fixability in a paper passing region by providing a heater in which the quantity of heat supplied to the passing region is set larger than that to the nonpassing region, in a smallest- sized transfer paper, in a heating roller. SOLUTION: When small-sized transfer papers 5 consecutively pass through, the temp. t1 of the heating roller in a paper passing part is measured by a temperature detector 7 and further, the temp. t2 of the heating roller in a paper nonpassing part is measured by another temperature detector. When the temp. t1 in the paper passing part becomes lower than a specified fixable lowest temp. t0, a lamp heater 103 generates heat, to raise only the temp. t1 in the paper passing part. On the other hand, at the time of fixing a transfer paper whose passing region is extended over a nearly whole roller, the energization of the heater 103 is stopped and a heater 2 generates the heat. From the result of this operation, even if the small-sized transfer papers consecutively pass through, the rising of the temp. in the paper nonpassing area of the end part of the roller is suppressed and the damage caused by the overheating of the shaft end part can be prevented.
