      SOLUTION: The hot water supply apparatus comprises the vessel body 4; a heating vessel 5 storing water; its cover body 32: a heating means 6; a water supply valve 9 controlling water supply to the heating vessel; a discharge unit 21 discharging hot water in the heating vessel 5 to the outside of the vessel body; and a lead-out means 26 transporting hot water in the heating vessel. The cover body 32 is formed inside with a water receiving part 33 of a water supply buffer 37 for temporarily storing supplied water and gradually supplying it into the heating vessel 5. An extra space for disposing the water supply buffer 37 independently in the heating vessel 5 is thereby dispensed with to reduce the size of the heating vessel 5 to the required minimum. As a result, the vessel body 4 is miniaturized to improve installation property into the space in the kitchen unit.
