    • PURPOSE:To operate the high frequency power amplifier at an optimum efficiency by decreasing the control voltage of the amplifier up to a voltage at which the output is not reduced and keeping the voltage in a device controlling the power of the high frequency power amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency signal inputted to an input terminal 11 is amplified by a power amplifier 12 and sent to an output terminal 14 through a signal transmission line 13. Part of the signal is extracted as a detection output 15 and converted into a DC at a detection circuit 16 and its DC voltage 17 is inputted to a voltage control circuit 18 and a monitor circuit 19. The monitor circuit 19 stores the detection DC voltage 17 representing it that the output power of the power amplifier 12 reaches a prescribed value to a memory 20 and decreases the detection DC voltage 17 after the control voltage of the voltage control circuit 18 is decreased by a prescribed quantity by a degree not lower than the voltage stored in the memory 20. The power amplifier 12 is operated by the final voltage.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain the desired oscillation output of local oscillation, oscillating frequency stability and oscillating mode by connecting the rear face of a metallic base plate in contact with a local oscillation circuit board high frequency ground potential pattern via a metallic thin plate with the recess of a metallic chassis and an RF mixing circuit board high frequency ground potential pattern with the rear face of the metallic base plate of the local oscillation circuit block respectively to ground in terms of high frequencies. CONSTITUTION:The RF mixed circuit input side high frequency ground part 18 of a metallic thin plate 15 is clipped between the input part of the RF mixing circuit board 2 and a metallic chassis 1 and they are tightened by a screw. While the local oscillation circuit output side high frequency ground part 17 of the metalic thin plate 15 is being deformed at the end face of the metalic base plate 11 and the output part of the local oscillation circuit board 9 and the input part of the RF mixing circuit board 2 are being butted, the local oscillation circuit block 4 is fitted to the recess 5 of the metallic chassis 1 and they are tightened. Thus, the projection 16 is in contact with the metalic base 11 and the recess 5 at the same time. Then the high frequency grounding level of the output section of the local oscillation circuit block 4 with respect to the high frequency grounding level of the RF mixing circuit board 2 is stabilized, the impedance matching between the local oscillation circuit and the RF mixing circuit is made stable, the output of the local oscillation is kept to a desired oscillation output so as to facilitate the stability of oscillation frequency and the oscillation mode.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set in which an antenna of high reception sensitivity can be selected in accordance with the inclination of a mobile communication terminal.
      SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal is provided with: a plurality of antennas; a case which incorporates a radio unit including an antenna selection section for selecting one of the plurality of antennas; a sensor for detecting the inclination of the case; and a control section for controlling the radio unit. The inclination of the case is recognized by the control section on the basis of a signal of the sensor during a voice call, and the antenna of high reception sensitivity is selected out of the plurality of antennas depending on the inclination, so that the deterioration of antenna gains caused by the head of a human body or any other obstacle is reduced and speaking quality can be ensured.
