    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image printer having characteristics of lesser number of parts and smaller device size in regard to image printers recording various information such as image information on recording paper. SOLUTION: This image printer is constituted by a paper discharging roller 30 conveying a recording paper 1 to the exterior of a body and a paper discharging guide 31 so that the recording paper 1 winds around the paper discharging roller 30 from an obtuse angle in a conveyance direction and a perpendicular direction. The paper discharging guide 31 has a projection protruding in a direction toward a conveyance path of the recording paper 1. The projection has a gap in a position outside an axial direction of the paper discharging roller 30 so that it does not overlap an outer circumference in a cross sectional projecting direction and an inclination of an acute angle in respect to a guide face. By this, a conveying force can be applied to the recording paper 1 by an elasticity of the recording paper 1 and members for sandwiching and conveying the recording paper 1 such as a paper discharging pinch roller are made unnecessary. Thus, a height of the body can be made lower and a number of parts can be made fewer.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose with a highly accurate guide member for mounting by fitting into a device case and a mechanism for mounting a recording paper cassette by using a stationary paper feed tray instead of a detachable recording paper cassette. SOLUTION: A paper feed tray 24 has an inclination of being higher frontward and lower innerward so that a recording paper 12 obliquely descends in a paper feed direction. A translucent cover 13 for a paper ejecting tray is opened, then a paper feed lid 22 is opened by hooking a finger by a notch in the paper feed lid and plural pieces of recording paper 12 are arranged at a specified position on the paper feed tray 24, i.e., inside a regulating part 25. The presence of the recording paper 12 can be visually determined from the front of the device through the notch in the paper feed lid 22, if the translucent cover 23 for the paper ejecting tray is closed. Further, a recessed part is provided in the front center part 27 of a recovering paper mounting part for the paper feed tray 24, so that the recording paper 12 can be easily pinched out by finger when it is unloaded. After arranging the recording paper 12, the paper feed lid 22 is closed to activate the device and the paper feed operation is initiated.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a double feed due to the generation of static electricity by forming a reverse roller such that its width is increased to a value higher than that of a conveying belt, and bringing a lever member to kick down second and following recording sheets into contact with the both ends of the roller from above by means of a low energizing force. CONSTITUTION:A reverse roller 30 pressing a recording sheet against a conveying belt 9 from below and handling second and following recording sheets 15b through reversing is formed such that its width is increased to a value higher than that of the conveying belt 9. The tip part of a lever member 19 to kick down second and following recording sheets 15b is rotatably located so as to make contact with the two end parts of the reverse roller 30 from above through the force of a spring 20. Thus, during completion of the feed of the sheets, the kick-down lever 19 is lowered in a sate to nip the second and following recording sheets 15b following lowering of the reverse roller 30. A first recording sheet 15a is conveyed but the second and following recording sheets 15b are pressed directly against the reversing reverse roller 30 to generate a high backward movement force, and the occurrence of a double feed is prevented.
