These metal pseudo porous pieces are manufactured by orienting metal short fibers 1 having magnetism by a magnetic field and studding them on base board applied with adhesive, removing the resin of a binding medium, baking, filling the active material in the direction in which the metal short fibers 2 are inclined, and subjecting the obtained object to a pressurizing process.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic recording medium having excellent durability by mixing three kinds of binders varying in the reactivity (gel molar fraction) from a crosslinking agent (polyisocyanate compd.) and specifying the reactivity of the binder compsn. and the crosslinking agent to >=80%. CONSTITUTION:The three-dimensional network structure which is insoluble and inmeltable in a solvent is formed by the addition reaction between functional groups (isocyanate group and hydroxyl group) and consequently, the tough coated films are formed and the durability of the magnetic layer is improved. The generation of flaws on the surface of the magnetic layer and the generation of drop-outs by the powder dislodged from the magnetic layer are obviated. Further, three kinds of the binders are added in order of the lower reactivity with the crosslinking agent at the time of preparing a magnetic coating material, by which the adsorption layer effective for the dispersion of the magnetic particles is first adsorbed by the binder having the low reactivity with the crosslinking agent without strongly adsorbing and fixing the binder having the good reactivity with the crosslinking agent. The durability of the magnetic layer is, therefore, greatly improved while the electromagnetic conversion characteristics are assured.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic tape having high durability, wearing resistance and excellent properties against deformation, scratches during traveling and skew strain, by subjecting the magnetic tape to humidification after supercalendering treatment or cutting process. 摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the durability and service life of a medium and head by providing thin magnetic metallic film layers on one or both surfaces of a nonmagnetic base and providing surface lubricating protective films mixed with a lubricating agent prepd. by mixing >=2 kinds of surface active agents with a binder and solvent on the surfaces of the magnetic layers. CONSTITUTION:'Permalloy(R)' (Fe.Ni alloy contg. Cu and Mo) layers 2 are provided on both surfaces of a PET film 1 and Co.Cr alloy layers 3 are provided thereon by a DC magnetron sputtering device to constitute a magnetic recording medium. Mixed surface protective film inks are then coated on such medium with a spinner and are dried to be cured by which the surface lubricating protective films 4 are formed on the medium surfaces. The vertical magnetic recording medium is thus formed. The surface protective films consisting of the compsn. mixed with >=2 kinds of the surface active agents decrease the coefft. of friction between the medium and head and contribute to the improvement of the durability.
