    • PURPOSE:To provide a promptly responding hot water feeder which instantaneously supplies hot water having a proper temperature, by a method wherein an internal hot water feed piping, having an opening and closing part which is opened and closed depending upon a hot water temperature and formed by a shape memory alloy, is located in a hot water feed piping through which a heater exchanger is connected to a faucet part. CONSTITUTION:An internal hot water feed piping 9, having size smaller than that of a hot water feed piping 4, is installed to the interior of a hot water piping 4, and an opening and closing part 8 is attached between the hot water feed piping 4 and the internal hot water feed piping 9. The opening and closing part 8 is formed of a shape memory alloy. When a heat water feeder is used first in the morning or a time elapsed till a hot water feed is reused in long, since a hot water temperature is low, the opening and closing part is set to a state 8a. Hot water flows only through the internal hot water feed piping 9, a velocity of flow to a faucet part 5 is increased, a time during which the temperature of hot water is increased to a proper value at the faucet part 5, is shortened, and operability is improved. When a hot water temperature is increased to some value or more, since the opening and closing part is set to a state 8b, a sufficient amount of hot water supply can be ensured.

CONSTITUTION:When wind blows, rainwater infiltrates into the inner part of a horizontal cylindrical portion 1a through an outlet portion 10 of an apparatus main body 4 and an exhaust cylinder 1. Rainwater certainly hits against any of the plurality of horizontal plates 2, and repeats reflection between the upper surface of the horizontal plate and the lower surface of a horizontal plate at the upper part of said horizontal plate, thus gradually decreasing the force of rainwater. Rainwater falls onto the lower part of the exhaust cylinder 1 between the perpendicalar plate 3 and the horizontal plate 2, and is stored at the lower part of the exhaust cylinder 1. Stored rainwater is discharged to the outer part of the apparatus main body 4 without falling onto an exhaust fan 5 and a burner 7, which are located at the remote part of the perpendicular plate 3.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the appliance from freezing by a structure wherein a honeycomb heater is installed on the exterior part of a combustion appliance in order to introduce the hot air generated by the honeycomb heater into the appliance by means of an exhaust fan. CONSTITUTION:A water inflowing part 2, a hot water outflowing part 3 and a gas inlet part 4 are mounted on an exterior part 1. In addition, a gas block part 6, which opens and closes a gas valve and adjusts and controls the gas flow, a heat exchanger 7, which turns the water flowing in an appliance into hot water, and a gas burner 8 are provided. Further, an exhaust fan 10 to discharge combustion gas is provided above the heat exchanger 7. Furthermore, an honeycomb heater 12 is provided on the exterior part 1. When the outside air temperature or water temperature lowers down to a temperature, at which the appliance may freeze, under the state that the appliance is out of use, a freezing preventive thermoswitch turns ON, causing to run the exhaust fan at low speed and at the same time to flow current through the honeycomb heater 12 so as to introduce the hot air produced by the heat generated in the honeycomb heater 12 in a hot water supplier in order to fill the supplier with the hot air, resulting in warming a water circuit part and consequently preventing it from freezing.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the mis-control preventive measure in a control circuit and improve the igniting performance by a method wherein a continuous discharging ignitor is fixed on the boiler body part of a heat exchanger for a bath heater, and the length of a high electric voltage lead wire is shortened. CONSTITUTION:A continuous discharging ignitor 13 is located at the lower part of a heat exchanger 15 for a bath heater, connected to an electric control part 11 with a lead wire 12, and connected to an electrode 18 of a pilot burner 17 with a high voltage lead wire 14. The continuous discharging ignitor 13 is located at a boiler body low temperature part 25 of a heat exchanger 21 for a bath heater. The location of the ignitor 13 is always at the inlet side, accordingly, the temperature of the ignitor 13 is low, consequently, the abnormal condition of the continuous discharging ignitor 13 caused by the burning can be prevented. The loss of energy (electric voltage) generated in the continuous discharging ignitor and the generation of noise signal can be prevented due to the short length of the high voltage lead wire, thereby, the stabilized igniting control can be performed.

    • PURPOSE:To enable inexpensive working and assembly of the titled apparatus and remove a difference between the hot water temperature detected by a thermister and the supplied hot water temperature from a hot water connecting post, by providing the thermister at the supply hot water connecting port and directly connecting the supply hot water connecting port to the heat exchange part of a supply hot water heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The supply hot water heat exchanger 9 and the supply hot water connecting port 8 are provided at positions close to each other, and both members are fastened by a screw 12 to the supply hot water connecting port 8 at a flange plate 11 on the tip end of an outlet pipe 10 from a heat exchanger 9a of the supply hot water heat exchanger 9. The supply water connecting port 8 is worked into a shape supporting the thermister 3 at a part on the center of a water passage. At this part, the connecting port 8 is sealed by means of an O-ring 16 and one fitting screw 18 presses a flat plate 19 through a metal collar 17 to fix the thermister 3. In this manner, the thermister 3 can be fixed by one screw 18 at the cut portion of the supply water connecting port 8 without welding the support metal fitting of the thermister 3 and carrying out the lead invasion preventing operation at the thermister supporting portion.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the lowering of gas flow rate of a water heater, when the simultaneous use of the water heater and a bath is intended, by a method wherein the gas flow rate of the bath is throttled. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a pilot safety valve 1 and a single gas governor 2 located in a gas passage behind the valve 1 are provided. Further, the gas passage behind the gas governor 2 is divided in two circuits, in one circuit of which a bath solenoid valve 4 and an orifice 6 suitable for each kind of gas are provided and in the other circuit of which a water heater solenoid valve 5 is provided. At the same time said orifice 6 is interlinked with the water heater solenoid vale 5 so that the orifice 6 is throttled until the predetermined passage resistance is produced, when the water heater solenoid valve 5 is open. Accordingly, when the water heater solenoid valve 5 is open, the orifice 6 is rather throttled, while, when closed, the orifice 6 is fully open, resulting in preventing the hot water delivery capacity from lowering during the simultaneous use of the water heater and the bath.

    • PURPOSE:To provide for every cause of incomplete combustion such as an extinction and subsequent outflow of unburned gas, the deficiency of oxygen, the choking of exhausting ports and fins, plug-up of burner and a primary air adjusting damper and blocking of air inlet port of combustion device and the like, by providing a heat exchanger with an oxygen potential sensor for detecting the occurance of incomplete combustion. CONSTITUTION:An incomplete combustion sensor 8 adapted to vary itself in response to an atmospheric temperature and an oxygen concentration is provided inside a heat exchanger 4 for inputting its output signal to an electronic circuit 9. The electronic circuit 9 is connected with an absorption valve 10 arranged in a system line feeding a gas to a pilot burner 6 and a nozzle 3. The incomplete combustion detecting sensor 8 is made of a sintered ceramic of transition metallic oxide such as a titania, and can vary itself in response to the atmospheric temperature and the oxygen concentration to be detected.
