As a result, the size of the die set can be greatly reduced, and further its cost can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated substrate cutting method for uniformly pressing a laminated substrate as a cutting objective workpiece, and achieving cutting operation with high accuracy in a manner minimizing a bite portion of a cutting edge and reducing stress to the laminated substrate, and to provide a cutting die for use in the method.
      SOLUTION: The cutting die is formed of an upper blade die 2 having upper blades 3 each exhibiting a V-shaped cross section at a distal end, and a lower blade die 4 opposed to the upper blade die 2 and having lower blades 5 of the same structure. According to the structure of the cutting die, by moving the upper blade die 2 or both the upper blade die 2 and the lower blade die 4, upper retainers 6 and lower retainers 7 softly hold the laminated substrate 1 or allow the laminated substrate 1 to be mounted thereon, and thus the cutting die carries out cutting of the laminated substrate 1 while a gap is secured between the upper blades 3 and the lower blades 5.

SOLUTION: This mechanism is constituted so that a punch holding part 1c having the same cross sectional shape in a rod like punch 1 is held between a fixed punch holder 2 and a movable punch holder 3 in a pair of block bodies and that, through the screwing of a follower set 7 inserted in a punch body screw hole 6, the freely movable punch 1 is clamped and fixedly held.
