    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner of higher quality by holding a temperature sensor with a simple structure and preventing incorrect temperature detection. SOLUTION: In a temperature sensor fixing device 1, a box part 5 provided with an opening surface 3 in a surface and a plurality of communication holes 2 in at least other two surfaces and a main body fixing part 4 for connecting other parts is formed at an end of the opening surface 3 of the box part. The temperature sensor fixing surface 8 having a temperature sensor fixing groove 6 and a thin wall part 9 for connecting the box part opening surface 3 and the temperature sensor fixing surface 8 are provided at another end on the same surface. Around the temperature sensor fixing groove 6 of a temperature sensor heat sensitive part 11 side of the temperature sensor fixing surface 8, a protective tube holding wall 15 having a substantially C-shape of which width (a) of the opening part is narrower than width (b) of a center part is formed.       SOLUTION: By providing an electrical component box 6 arranged in the vicinity of an upper part of a heat exchanger 4, and a holding part 8 holding the outdoor temperature sensor 7 with a heat sensing part 7a arranged at the upwind side of the heat exchanger 4, covering an outer casing holding them by a lid like top board 9, integrally forming the electrical component box 6 and the holding part 8 composed to hold the heat sensing part 7 higher than the upper end 4a of the heat exchanger and at the inner side of the top board 9, and forming an opening 9a in a heat sensing part 7a in the vicinity of the top board 9 in the outdoor unit 1 of the air conditioner, the outdoor temperature sensor is protected by a simple structure, erroneous temperature detection caused by direct sunlight, radiation from the heat exchanger, air having passed through the heat exchanger or the like is prevented, handling and assembling are easy as an electrical component box single body, and reliability can be improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a case frame from being deformed due to temperature change during operation of an air-conditioner by reinforcing with ribs a portion stretching over two temperature areas of a rear face of the case frame and stretching up to a deflecting point where deformation can be caused by thermal shrinkage in the respective temperature areas. SOLUTION: In a case frame 1 having a heat exchanger 4 of a complicated shape in a rear face of the case frame 1, ribs 6 are provided in such a manner as to stretch over both a corner part, which is susceptible to deformation, of a portion 1a disposed to air before heat exchange and a connecting part of an air circuit, which is susceptible to deformation, of a portion 1b of the case flame 1 disposed to air after implementation of heat exchange. In such a construction, because temperature same as an ambient temperature is maintained during heating operation, a high temperature portion is prevented from being deformed due to thermal expansion by means of connection to a low temperature portion 1a with the ribs 6. Thus, thermal deformation of the case flame 1 can be prevented from occurring during operation of an air-conditioner.
