    • PURPOSE:To reduce a temperature rise by a method wherein when a solar battery element is housed in a metallic case and enclosed with transparent resin to make a battery, covering with a transparent resin plate or a glass plate, a nitrided boron layer is interposed between the element and the metallic case. CONSTITUTION:A silicon rubber sheet 5 for radiating heat is laid in a top-opened metallic case which is provided with radiating fins on the reverse side, and a solar battery element is arranged thereon. Then, a transparent silicon resin 3 is filled up within a case 1, and an opened end of the case 1 being a light receiving surface is covered with a cover 4 formed of a guard glass plate or a resin plate to make a battery. in this construction, a nitrided boron plate 6 is additionally interposed between the bottom surface of the case 1 and the rubber sheet 5. Thus, the difference between the temperature of the element 2 and that of the air becomes small and best suited for placing in the outdoor, due to insertion of the boron plate 6 having thermal conductivity as large as 160X10 cal/cm.sec. deg.C.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a mixing operation between anode and cathode when in a work of cell assembly, and a misconnection coming from a wrong discrimination between anode and cathode terminals when in use of the cell, by using a wrapping material of different coloring to coat the anode and cathode current collecting parts. CONSTITUTION:Between outer and inner sides two sheets of resin films 81, 82, is placed an aluminum foil 83, and three of those above are unified into sandwich shape to construct a resin film 8, 8' to surround a generating element. For this resin film 8, 8' to be made fully discriminatable between coating for anode side and cathode side, a different coloring is applied, when coated the generating element by that as a wrapping material, to the film 81 located in the outer side, for instance, in such manner mutually with red color for the anode side and white color for the cathode side. In such way, even for the flat-type cell, thinly shaped with a discrimination difficult between anode and cathode from its external shape, the polarity can be easily discriminated.
