SOLUTION: The collectors 105, 106 of the wound element 101 are respectively bent toward the opposite direction of the winding axis 104 of the wound element 101 concerning regions 118, 123, and are respectively bent toward the direction of the winding axis 104 of the wound element 101 concerning the regions 119, 124, so that end surfaces 115, 120 are constituted. The collector 105 is connected to a lid member 103 on the end surface 115, so as to be the first pole of the capacitor.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electric double layer capacitor to be used for an automobile etc. which can solve the problem that electrode connection of an element has unsatisfactory quality.
      SOLUTION: The manufacturing method has a step of fabricating a capacitor element 1 having positive/negative leading electrode sections 1a, 1b formed on both end surfaces; a step of housing the capacitor element 1 into a metallic case 2; a step of arranging a terminal plate 3 on an opening of the metallic case 2 housing the capacitor element 1 and sealing the metallic case 2; a step of joining the leading electrode sections 1a, 1b of the capacitor element 1 on the internal surface of the terminal plate 3 and the internal bottom surface of the metallic case 2; and a step of pouring a driving electrolytic solution into the metallic case 2. After fabricating the capacitor element 1, the electrodes constituting the leading electrode sections 1a, 1b formed on each of end surfaces of the capacitor element 1 are tilted so that they fall from the center to the external periphery along a winding direction, and thus, welding quality is improved and high reliability can be realized.

    • PURPOSE: To decrease the number of terminals by providing an electrode pattern for short-circuiting the opposite ends of a resistor pattern thereby collecting the voltage input parts at one point. CONSTITUTION: A resistor pattern 2 formed on a substrate 1 is separated into two parts 2a, 2b by one end of a GND electrode pattern 3 abutting against the resistor pattern 2. The resistor pattern 2 is short-circuited, at the opposite ends thereof, through a short circuit electrode pattern 4 and connected, at only one end thereof, with a voltage input terminal 5a. The GND electrode pattern 3 is connected, at the other end thereof, with a GND terminal 5 and an output electrode pattern 6 is connected an output terminal 5b. When a brush 35 is slid from point A to C while applying a voltage Vin to the terminal 5a and grounding the GND terminal 5c, a voltage having V-shaped output characteristics can be delivered from the output terminal 5b. This structure decreases the number of terminals and components thus reducing the labor on the user side.
