摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which an ink supply body can be replaced and a print medium can be fed/drawn out through access from only one direction of the recorder. SOLUTION: The ink jet recorder comprises an ink cartridge 12 containing recording ink being loaded removably from a specified side of the recorder body 14 toward the inside of the recorder and communicating with a recording head through a conduit, a sheet feed tray 10 for feeding a recording medium disposed toward the inside of the recorder from the same side same as that loaded with the ink cartridge 12, and a sheet discharge tray 11 for discharging a recorded recording medium disposed toward the inside of the recorder from the same side as that loaded with the ink cartridge 12, wherein loading/ unloading of the ink cartridge 12 and feeding/drawing of the recording medium can be carried out from the same side of the recorder body 14. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus in which a durability of a flexible substrate is high, enabling a carriage to be maintained to operate stably and enabling the apparatus to be made compact. SOLUTION: The carriage 2 movable in a horizontal scanning direction is arranged above a transfer face of a recording paper. Sub ink tanks 7, 8, 9 and 10 and a printing head are loaded to the carriage 2. There are set main ink tanks 3, 4, 5 and 6 for supplying ink via supply tubes 11a, 11b, 11c and 11d to the sub ink tanks 7-10. Furthermore, there are provided flexible substrate 13a and 13b for electrifying the printing head. The flexible substrates 13 and 13b are kept within a height of the sub ink tanks 7-10, made conductive to the printing head and developed in a space continuous with the lateral side of the sub ink tanks 7-10.
