摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of lithium dendrite by using the gel electrolyte of a polymer alloy, and to provide a highly reliable battery having enhanced safety. SOLUTION: A polymer alloy film comprises a slightly soluble polymer and a soluble polymer in an organic electrolysis solution. A gelled polymer electrolyte comprises an organic electrolysis solution. In this case, the phase separation size of the alloy film is restricted to less than 100nm. This polymer alloy gel restrains the occurrence of lithium dendrite so that a lithium polymer battery introducing the polymer alloy gel functions as a highly reliable battery having enhanced safety.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly diffuse lithium ions, reduce internal resistance of a battery, and realize high capacity at high rate discharging by containing ceramics selected from Al2 O3 , SiO2 , ZrO2 , MgO and Na2 O by a specific quantity to an active material in a negative electrode. SOLUTION: Ceramic particles which are composed of at least one or more kinds selected from a group of Al2 O3 , SiO2 , ZrO2 , MgO and Na2 O and do not participate in charging reaction of a battery, are contained by 0.01 to 20 pts.wt. to an active material 100 pts.wt. in a negative electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery. Liquid preserving performance and ion conductivity are improved by mixing ceramic particulates inside an electrode, the electrode having low internal resistance can be manufactured. A high rate charging/discharging characteristic is improved by constituting the battery by using this electrode, and since mechanical strength of a plate also increases, the battery excellent in a charging/discharging characteristic in the last stage can be formed. It is desirable to use the ceramic particles having a particle diameter not more than 10μm.

A discharge characteristic of a polymer electrolyte battery and those of batteries taken as comparison examples are shown in a figure.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte with high mechanical strength and high ionic conductivity by using a polymer alloy film prepared by mixing or compatibilizing a polymer slightly soluble in an organic electrolyte and a polymer soluble in it. SOLUTION: A polymer alloy film prepared by mixing or compatibilizing a polymer slightly soluble in an organic electrolyte and a polymer soluble in it is impregnated with the organic electrolyte to obtain a gelled electrolyte 3. The gelled electrolyte 3 obtained is not fluid because the slightly soluble polymer is entangled microscopically each other to fix the soluble polymer, and has high mechanical strength and high ionic conductivity. By placing the gelled electrolyte 3 between a negative electrode layer 2 and a positive electrode layer 4, a lithium polymer battery having discharge characteristics equal to a battery having a liquid electrolyte is obtained. The polymer slightly soluble in the organic electrolyte is preferable to be polyvinylidene fluoride or a copolymer of polyvinylidene fluoride, and the polymer soluble in it is preferable to be polyethylene oxide.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery, of which cycle lifetime characteristic is improved and which has a high energy density, by forming a lithium secondary battery of a positive electrode, a negative electrode of a lithium metal, and the organic electrolyte, which includes magnesium salt and CO2 gas at the time of forming a battery. SOLUTION: A gasket 3 is interposed between an outer can 1 for battery negative electrode and an outer can 2 for battery positive electrode, and a positive electrode 5, a negative electrode 4 and a separator impregnated with the organic electrolyte 6 are filled inside of the cans. At the time of charging a battery, in the lithium metal negative electrode 4, the CO2 gas, which exists in the organic electrolyte, is fixed to a surface of the lithium metal so as to generate LiCO3 . At the same time, magnesium ion is selectively deoxidized and deposited in a boundary of particles of a surface of the lithium metal so as to generate lithium and the alloy, and generation of lithium dendrite is restrained in the following charge and thereafter so as to improve the lifetime characteristic. Even in the case where a material, which can store and discharge lithium ion, is used for negative electrode, generation of lithium dendrite due to a quick charge is prevented so as to improve the lifetime characteristic.

SOLUTION: A conductor containing fluororesin having binding action is added to a constituting material of a polymer electrolyte composite positive electrode 1. Adhesion between particles in addition to that between a positive mix and a current collector is increased, and high electronic conductivity is ensured without adding excess conductive particles. As the fluororesin having binding action to be dispersed and fixed onto the surface of a conductor particle as an electrode constituting element, polytetrafluoroethylene, tetrafluoroethylene- hexafluoropropylene copolymer, polyvinylidene fluoride or the like are used. As the conductor, acetylene black, furnace black, graphite or the like are used. The filling amount of an active material is increased to increase battery capacity, and cycle characteristics are enhanced.
