    • PURPOSE:To provide a polymer hardening judging device, which can judge the degree of hardening on real time basis without risk of damaging a protection film. CONSTITUTION:Infrared rays emitted by an infrared ray emitting device 1 are collected by No.1 concave mirror 2. A glass base board 3 coated with an overcoat protection film is installed on a reflex mirror 4 so that the protection film forms the surface for incidence of infrared rays, and an adjustment is made so that the focal point of the infrared rays due to the concave mirror 2 lies between the protection film on the glass base board 3 and the reflex surface of mirror 4. The flare components of the reflected infrared rays are removed by an aperture 5, and the resultant is turned into parallel beam by No.2 concave mirror 6, decomposed into spectra by a prism 7, collected by No.3 concave mirror 8, converted into electrical signals by a vacuum thermo-couple 9 installed at the focal point of this concave mirror 8, amplified by a signal amplifier 10, and digitalized by an A/D convertor 11. Those of electrical signals having spectral intensity with a predetermined number of waves are sampled and subjected to computation. When the result from computation attains a certain predetermined value, it is known that hardening of the polymer has ended.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent generation of irregularity of the film formed on a protective film, cracks and exfoliation and the like on a stepped part by a method wherein, when protective material is applied on a pattern, the substrate to be coated is vibrated. CONSTITUTION:The substrate 2, on which microscopic patterns 1 are formed, is coated with the protective film material 3 such as acryl, for example, having ECA as a solvent. Then, the substrate 2, coated with protective film material 3, is provided on a supersonic vibrator 8 which functions as a vibrator, and the vibrator 8 is operated. The vibration is transmitted to the substrate 2 and the microscopic patterns 1, and even the protective film material 3 of high viscosity can be easily fludized. As a result, a part of the protective film material 3 located on the protruding part of the microscopic patterns is fed to the recessed part of the pattern 1, and a stepless and flat-surfaced protective film can be obtained. As a result, the irregularity film thickness of the metal thin film on the protective film, generation of cracks, exfoliation and the like on the stepped part can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent each metal electrode from being deformed even under the process of baking frit glass which is carried out for sealing a vacuum container and uniform brightness on a fluorescent screen so as to obtain a low-cost, lightweight image display device by using a plurality of electron-beam control electrodes each of which is disposed on the insulating film of one side insulating base comprising the insulating film formed on the surface of one side of a stainless steel plate or electromagnetic soft iron steel plate. CONSTITUTION:One side insulating base 1 is formed by applying frit glass paste to the whole surface of one side of a stainless steel plate or electromagnetic soft iron steel plate 10 through screen printing, and baking the paste, or providing static charge to powders of a glass material and a synthetic resin so as to attach the powders to one side of the plate 10, and then baking the same at high temperatures. A plurality of electron-beam control electrodes 2 are formed on the insulating film 1b of the one side insulating base 1 and a plurality of linear cathodes 5 are laid thereon in such a manner as being almost perpendicular to each control electrode 2. Also metallic electrodes 8,9 are each mounted on the one side insulating base 1 and a reinforcing rib 4 is mounted on the metal surface side of the one side insulating base 1.
