    • PURPOSE: To improve the stability of an ozone sensor with the lapse of time by adding a specified amount of bismuth to gas sensing body consisting of mainly In2 O3 . CONSTITUTION: A gas sensing body 2 is produced by applying a solution consisting of In2 O3 containing SnO2 as a main component and to which bismuth is added as an additive to the surface of an alumina substrate 1 of a thin film ozone sensor element 10. At that time, the addition amount of bismuth is set to be 3-15wt.% (in conversion into Bi2 O3 ) of the total weight of the In2 O3 and SnO2 . Furthermore, gold electrodes 3, 3', 7, 7' for the sensing body 2 and a heater 4 are formed in the substrate 1. Electricity is communicated continuously to the element 10 in air at 20 deg.C and 60% relative humidity and the element is taken out at every prescribed time to measure the resistance value of the element 10 in a measuring box and the sensitivity of the sensor is measured. At that time, in the case the gas sensing body 2 contains bismuth 3-15wt.% (in conversion into Bi2 O3 ), the alteration with the lapse of time is low and the initial characteristics are stable. In this way the stability of the sensor with the lapse of time can be improved by limiting the addition amount of bismuth to be 3-15wt.%.

    • PURPOSE:To enable emission meeting control purpose by making up an EL touch switch of a plural number of emitters provided over a same substrate, and concurrently scanning a plural number of different luminous colors so as to be switched over simultaneously when a touch switch is tuned on. CONSTITUTION:Transparent conductive membranes A2 and B3 are formed on both the surfaces of a glass substrate 1. A blue and a red emitting layer 4 and 5 are formed over the membrane A2. And silver paste is printed at positions corresponding to the back layers 4 and 5 covered with a high conductive resin layer 6, so that back face conductive electrodes A7 and P8 are formed. And the back face conductive electrodes are finally hermetically sealed with a back face protective resin film 10 bonded with each bonding resin layer 9. A reduction in equivalent impedance produced by a finger touch on the sensor plate of the membrane B3 is detected by both a LC transmitting circuit-detection circuit and a voltage detection circuit, so that switch-over from emission to extinction is made with input scanned to a plural number of layers. By this constitution, a device can be made small in size, and induction matching the sense of an operator can also be provided.
