摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process capable of producing additive lenses which may be easily superposed on the lenses of spectacles by utilizing pins projecting from the lenses with high efficiency. SOLUTION: The prescribed positions at the side edges of the blank additive lenses obtained by molding of synthetic resins are bored with slits 11 of a specified size by a shearing device 2 which is formed with a positioning point and a punching toe 21b at one jaw 21 and a shearing port 22a at another jaw 22 intermeshably with each other. Eyelet pieces 3 are mounted into the slits 11 bored in the manner described above, by which the eyelets of the eyelet pieces 3 are engaged with the pins projected from the existing lenses of the spectacles. The additive lenses which may be superposed on the existing lenses are thus manufactured.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spectacles which eliminate unsightly bolt and nut mechanisms for lenses while having rimless spectacle-like appearance, are structurally stable in lens holding, do not clatter in spite of long use, are smart and a practicable. SOLUTION: Rim 21 portions of front frames 2 are manufactured of metallic wires having external shapes fittable into the fitting grooves 11 of the lenses 1. Elastically openable and closable overhanging ear parts 22 are formed on both right and left sides of the front frames 2. The parts near the ends are fixed to the right and left overhanging ear parts 22 by using a pair of upper and lower couple plates 31 and 33 as endpieces. The rims 21 hold the lenses 1 in the state of fitting the lenses into the fitting grooves 11 by the pivotal fitting of pivots 5 when temples 4 are hinged to the couple plates 31 and 33.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable bending in a complicated shape by placing a hard-to-work metallic wire on an electrically conductive support member that consists of a rod material with a circular cross section, bringing a conductive pressurizing member into contact with the rod, energizing while a specific pressure is applied to it, and relatively moving it in the axial direction while rotating at a prescribed speed. SOLUTION: A guide rod sliding device is operated, with a workpiece W bent at right angles at a first bending position, while a forked part at the tip end of the guide rod is engaged with a pair of engaging grooves of a chuck piece. A second conductive pressurizing member is lowered by operating an air cylinder device, abutted on a second bending position of the workpiece W, and energized while a specific pressure is applied to the member. Simultaneously, a lead screw 325 is rotated by operating a motor 314. The second conductive member and the guide rod move relatively in the bending direction of the workpiece W, with the heating position successively moved to the unheated part of the workpiece W, and with the forming of a coil part continuously carried out.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable additional lenses to be attached to ordinary spectacles simply and surely by providing respective guide protrusions at symmetric positions of outer peripheral parts on the ordinary spectacles and providing respective guide holes into which respective guide protrusions are to be guided on the additional lenses. SOLUTION: Bracket endpieces 14a, 14a to which temples 16 are hinged are fitted to both right and left ends of standard lenses 10, 10 of spectacles 1 in inserted and held states. First magnetic pieces 14, 14 being magnets are provided on these bracket endpieces 14a, 14. Moreover, respective guide protrusions 13, 13 are provided at upper parts of both sides of front surface sides of the standard lenses 10, 10. On the other hand, second magnetic pieces 24, 24 consisting of magnets are provided at positions corresponding to the first magnetic pieces 14, 14, and guide holes 23, 23 into which the guide protrusions 13, 13 are to be guided are also provided at positions corresponding to respective guide protrusions 13, 13 on the outer peripheral parts of addition lenses 20, 20. Thus, the addition lenses 20, 20 are to be attached to the standard lenses 10, 10 by allowing respective first and second magnetic pieces 14, 24 to be attracted with each other while making the guide protrusions 13, 13 to be guidedly inserted into the guide holes 23, 23.
