摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air duct whereby cool air is efficiently guided to an air cleaner of an on-car engine, and an engine noise can be well shielded. SOLUTION: An air duct 1 comprises a main body 2, bellows-shaped communication pipe 3, and an air introducing pipe 4, the main body 2 has a flat air passage 14 and a blade part in both sides thereof, to be bolt locked to a cylinder head cover 22 so as to cover an upper surface of the cylinder head cover 22 of an on-car engine, the air passage 14 is connected to an air cleaner 23 in the rearward, on the other hand, the air introducing pipe 4 is screw locked to an upper bar 24 in a car width direction arranged in the upward of a car body front end, to be opened to the forward of a vehicle just under an engine hood.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inlet port body for an air duct that has necessary strength despite a product solely of resin material. SOLUTION: The inlet port body 1 for an air duct forms an inlet space continuous with an inlet port 6 by means of a top wall 2, a bottom wall 3 and sidewalls 4, and forms mounting holes 11 for fixing in the bottom wall, and the inlet space near the mounting holes 11 has struts 13 for connecting the top wall 2 and the bottom wall 3, and walls 14 extended from the struts 13. The arrangement of the struts 13 for connecting the top wall 2 and the bottom wall 3 and the extension of the walls from the struts both in the inlet space 5 near the mounting holes 11 causes the presence of the walls to increase the strength of the regions of the mounting holes 11 despite the manufacture of the inlet port body from parts solely of resin.

At a plurality of locations on the external layer section 2b of the short tubular section 2, a vertical slit 4 is provided, and the insert 1 is made easy to extend/shrink by the external force which is applied to the short tubular section 2.
